Absolutely lovely with amazing view of the sea

I went for my birthday & chose the hotel for the location, stunning views & closeness to the Minack theatre. Stunning location, right on the beach, the staff were very attentive and couldn't have done more and all in all made it a very special stay for my birthday.

Fantastic location and view from our room, really comfortable and welcoming. Great breakfast and added bonus of yoga class if we wanted to greet the day. Love to go back!

The location was absolutely stunning! Watched the sunset over the cove. Staff were welcoming and kind. The room was just lovely- so many thoughtful details. Highly recommend!!

Had a lovely stay at The Old Success Inn. We booked a room with sea view and were not disappointed. The breakfast was really good and kept us going well into the day. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was really good. Only issue was the bathroom fan was really loud, however forgot to tell them this when checking out, so hopefully they will read this review. Overall thought the stay was great.

Room was clean and comfortable, well equipped and supplied. Location is amazing, right next to the beach. Perfect views Breakfast excellent, good quality and a huge choice. Best of all were the staff - all very welcoming and helpful, in a natural, non-corporate. Congrats to them all. Only downside was the room - number 15 - which has poor sound isolation from reception and bar. It has windows that are overlooked by the terrace so you have the noise and the lack of privacy following from that. I’ve given five stars because of the outstanding staff but I would only stay here again if I was sure to avoid that room.

Friendly staff. Nice ambience.

We were able to check in early which was a nice touch, as were the complementary drinks and snacks. We ate outside in the afternoon and the burger was delicious. The bed was a bit on the soft side for my liking but I had a wonderful night’s sleep. Breakfast was lovely, but it is cooked to order so factor that into your timing. All in all a wonderful stay, will definitely be back

Love this Inn - charming & luxurious but unfortunately has some downsides which they probably can’t fix due to the age of the building & regulations. Absolutely stunning room, the best bed I’ve ever slept in was simply amazing! Water pressure in the shower along with lack of hot water was disappointing to say the least even when used at random times. Windows are only able to open 3” which is probably some random health & safety law but again disappointing to have an amazing view spoiled. Staff are exceptional and will go out of their way to help with any queries.

One night stay, late arrival early checkout. Great place, nice cozy pub downstairs - had tagliatelle which was good. Room comfy, warm, great, lovely bed. Nice toiletries, amenities. Left too early for breakfast but knew it would've been good just from the feel of the place. Decided to check out early doors, visit some places for work then come back at 9am for the breakfast (included). Correct decision, it was amazing. Nothing against the normal run of the mill chain pubs I tend to stay in when on the road so much, but this was refreshing and welcome change. Just a shame I my stay was so short...

Room access was very difficult for my husband who has mobility issues. Next to time I will ask for a room with easier access. However, the view from our room was fabulous so access difficulties accepted. Staff tried to resolve this and were very helpful and supportive.

Very clean and a really lovely room, luxurious with bathrobes. The fridge with drinks and snacks to buy was a nice touch, as were the two complimentary cans of Korev. Great shower room. Fantastic view. Couldnt ask for more. The staff are very welcoming, attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast which has a great choice.

Lovely hotel with a fantastic location , rooms very comfortable and clean . Excellent value for money . One side note is please allow an extra £9 per day parking fee as hotel does not have parking and you have to use beach car park opposite.

Comfortable but noisy

This Inn was everything we wanted for our 4 Night 5 day stay. A definite happy place memory. Staff were lovely.

Great pub & restaurant at the hotel.
