the property is ok and the reception staff it’s only the kitchen staff that are not friendly at all and they give attitude especially the team leader

This is possibly the worst experience I've had at a hotel. I had to move rooms 3 times. The first room had a massive leak from the ceiling then the second did not have properly working lights. By the 3rd attempt i was so tired i simply accepted my fate.

This property is beautiful, clean and the entire staff from the maids to the front desk and restaurant are all 4 stars! So professional. Staff is always cleaning and beautifying the property. So polite and I did not witness any attitudes. This is my new go to when staying in Johannesburg. Management is down to earth and eager to please. This is what I am used to in the states. They are tops!

The rooms were very well presented and clean. The decorations and designs were beautifully arranged. The balcony has a panoramic view of Johannesburg. Its very beautiful and relaxing. The free breakfast and the agents were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely come back here snd recommend to friends and family.

Great staff and in a great location. We stayed for 7 nights and wish we’d had an apartment rather than a room. The room was dark but spacious.

Good location, clean and has easy access to highway, close to shopping centres with a good variety of shops, could do with more lighting during loadshedding.

I booked a penthouse but only got 3 separate rooms.

nice apartment hotel but inconsistent with heating, asking for help and queries. the heating is a bit weird, and there aren't always kitchen items like pots/pans, depending on the apartment. same goes for washing/drying machines depending on the apartment. very nice, modern apartment though with parking and close to a lot of restaurants.

Staff was very friendly however the breakfast was like a hostel. Only One Juice or one coffee allowed

The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. However, the heating system didn't seem to be working very well. The hotel is closeby lots of restaurants and shops, which makes the location very convenient. Unfortunately, guests have to pay extra for in-room wifi.

Everything you need is close by, the gym is great, the restaurant serves great food reasonably priced. There are also plenty of nice restaurant within walkin distance. The staff are great and very helpful.

The Nicol is a great place to stay. Very good gym, good breakfast, helpful staff. Get an apartment as it's worth the extra expense.

Not really a place to stay. Old furnitures and the room cleaning could have been better. Everywhere hair on the floor which were not mine. At least i tried a new place. Breakfast is nothing i recommend they wanted that i nedd tonpay the water as this is not invluded in the breakfast..

The location/access from airport was good. the staff all very pleasant but the room unfortunately was a bit cramped - plenty cupboard space but the sleeping area could be better.corridor room and roman blind not working so a battle to get natural ventilation. I was there on business with other people and some complained of very noicey room(facing a main road) no spare toilet roll in the room and no tissues either. Tv screen not clear and remote not working. intercom to the reception also not working
