Great room, with friendly helpful staff. Enjoyed drinks and food cannot fault.

Pretty much everything was ok but the room window was screwed shut! What on earth is that about?

Receptionist was extremely rude and had no manners or respect what so ever

The rooms were fine but there is no air conditioning so in hot weather it may not suit some people. For the price including breakfast and parking it is good value. Our room was modernised but the bathroom had old style taps that were difficult to turn on and off.

The staff here are outstandingly friendly, helpful and professional. The restaurant in the basement is first class for food and, once again, the staff are incredible. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, try the restaurant, you won't be disappointed. The hotel is in a lovely building and the public areas are very nice. However, the room I had was very tired. It needed a new shower and there were water stains on the ceiling and walls where they must have had a water leak above and it hadn't been painted. The wifi was very weak and I couldn't do any online work in my room. Overall though, it is a well placed hotel with great staff and I would stay there again because of this fact.

Another great stay here. The curry house in the basement is well worth a visit.

Room cleanliness could have been better, grubby light switches, broken blind, All Functional but just ok ☹️ bed very uncomfortable Hairdryer, iron, fan, provided and all working. Room was on top floor and Extremely warm, mid heatwave and heating on!!! Stayed there for 2 nights for a family wedding which was on site, very poor bar service , quickly ran out of peroni, people ended up being owed change as they had none in the tills, certainly not what we expected when they knew 100+ people would be attending😡 On a positive note breakfast was quite nice and a good choice of hot and cold options, guy who tended the breakfast room could not be faulted.

Staff Friendly

Stayed in room 208. The bathroom door would not keep closed after trying a few times. 1 of the windows wouldn't close. There was a stain on one of the pillow slips. We did report these to Richard in the morning of check out.

I stay here regularly. Staff are always helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is decent. Would recommend.

Helpful staff, good Wi-Fi. That's the positives out of the way. You actually have to park across the road in the job centre car park. My room had a raging hot radiator with no controls in May. Reception guy turned it off with a spanner, appreciated. Single Room: Outdated, grotty and only made over (a bit) every other day. Window latch broken, wobbly furniture, deadlock broken, no bedside table or shelf, no hooks or towel rails in bathroom, taps you cant operate with wet hands due to lack of grip, macerating toilet which gave off a whiff of mouldering fecal matter from time to time, slowest lift in the world, noisy street outside and strong cooking smells from restaurant below even 3 floors up. I think this is one for Walk With Me Tim.

Another great stay, all most a home from home.

In the town centre. Great breakfast buffet All freshly prepared. Rooms are clean and quiet and cleaning staff are excellent nothing ever a problem unfortuantely its only a few people for such a large building. Very conformable beds and very clean. Great wifi and TV channels. Bar is lovely but never anyone there and stock is poor you cant even get a bottle still water. In house man Richard who is chef handyman reception security and everyrhing else this place would not function like it does as he is a man of many hats and he defientley should be made manager the amount he speaks highly of the place. Well worth a stay and prices are excellent

Unfortunately the bathroom light fixture was hanging off and there was a knocking noise on and off throughout which sounded like old noisy water pipes

Nice hotel with convenient parking, no breakfast available which was disappointing. Check in was quick and efficient. Easy to get to with plenty of dining choices nearby.
