The hotel is ok with good parking and a fairly close walk to the kelpies for gigs etc.

Decent hotel

Room was spacious but need a revamp and deep clean. Staff have helpful. Breakfast was excellent. No trouble parking. . Easy to find about a quarter mile from motorway.

I was hoping that they would connect our rooms since I booked them together for our family/kids, but they couldn't accommodate. The bar closed very early for a weekend, just my opinion. And the Kelpies was supposed to be a 15 minute walk as advertised by everyone, but nothing is mentioned about how unsafe it is to walk areas that have no sidewalk. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. The lift was broken, that is why I rated it a four instead of 5, stairs were difficult with my heavy luggage is all.

Hotel was a little dated in the rooms. Had a musty and mouldy smell in my room, shower was broken and wouldn't stay in holder, toilet made a huge noise when flushed probably waking up the whole hotel and room smelt musty and mouldy. Asked for a fan and one got delivered and when I came back to hotel later that evening I found it didn't work

The hotel facilities are very old. The receptionist didn't tell us the lift was out of order, and the electrical plug in the room wasn't working properly. The hotel's noise insulation wasn't sufficient. There was a wedding party during our stay, and all the music kept coming through our room at night.

Clean room and sheets, quiet room, ok breakfast, staff friendly.

The staff and room were great!

I was there to attend my friend's wedding, the rooms are dated but reasonably clean. On checking out the next morning I was made to feel really uncomfortable when the woman on reception said I had not settled my bill for the over night stay and when I proceeded to look out the paid receipt again on my phone she abruptly said" on my system it is outstanding". then after another awkward minute she remarked oh it is paid then stood up and walked away through to the back office with no apology.

Lovely staff. Restaurant is in a building outside the main building as were our rooms and the lift wasn’t working. Not great travelling with an elderly relative. The building was a bit run down but it suited the purpose for one night.

Restaurant, 100% recommend! Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and informative. Easy to find and super market across the street. Bathroom could use some updating and a deep cleaning. Instructions for turning on the room heater would have been helpful. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Friendly staff. Great room with a nice view

Great for visiting The Kelpies, easy walk to get to helix park. Good plentiful parking. Lovely old building. We were in an annexe so had to walk outside around the building for meals, breakfast in hotel and dinner in Cooks restaurant. Good food in Cooks. Luckily the weather was kind to us, no rain. On a downside the key to the door was a bit fiddly, you need a knack. The bed was on a downward slope towards the headboard, husband investigated, missing castors, easily rectified. All in all we enjoyed our weekend break.

The hotel is in an ideal location to walk to the nearby Kelpies or Falkirk football club. Staff are excellent all very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is about the shower the water pressure was pathetic and one night there was no hot water. Food at Cooks was excellent and definitely worth going back for that alone.

Although a little dated the property was clean and the staff were absolutely superb. The Cooks pub serving food was excellent and the staff that worked in there were extremely friendly, can’t recommend there enough.

Yes everything was good 👍 and parking too.

Parking was easy, room spacious with large bathroom but no shower mat and the pressure of water from the shower head rendered it completely useless for showering. Some fixtures in bathroom handing off and staining on the carpet made it look tatty. Easy to find and only a minute from the motorway junction, so very handy in that respect.

Clean spacious room, friendly staff at breakfast and for evening meal.
