Its high end with great decor and fab spa facilities. Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with removal of clients who dont adhere, sadly a few spoil it for everyone else. We were offered a free late check out but as we had to leave our car park was reimbursed as a gesture of goodwill, which was appreciated.

The spa was incredible Outdoor pool lovely Staff were really pleasant Comfy bed Super breakfast When we retuned in the evening found the room menu but no phone number! Unable to order food 😞 Made do with hot chocolate & cookie 😞 Wasn’t aware of hotel car park charges until our arrival!

The room was large with a sofa/bed The main bed was superking and the bathroom was large and modern. The towels were lovely soft and white.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very nice, pool and spa were lovely and food was good. My only complaint about the room would be that the bed was too hard. The hotel is on a steep hill so if, like me, you have health issues you'll need to get a taxi back from the centre of Torquay.

Rooms were clean but furniture needs updating and no fridge in room which we would have expected

This amazing hotel well surpassed our expectations. Beautifully modernised and equipped with quality fittings everywhere. Our stay coincided with some sunny hot weather so the outdoor pool, jacuzzi and bar facilities were in full use but still plenty of sun loungers and great service. New indoor pool and spa were simply fabulous, very clean, quiet and well maintained. Breakfasts were that perfect combination of extensive help yourself cold buffet and freshly cooked to order hot food from a super menu including my favourite Eggs Benedict. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel breakfast and spa was first class, we booked through expedia for a week and got a great price. The standard room view was terrible. Room 21 is to be avoided the view out of both windows was horrible. The laundry on one side and the fire escape on the other. I wonder if the hotel gives expedia the worst room? The hotel should tell you what to expect!!

Room very small and could hear the room next door in great detail. Very clean though. Gym was very disappointing . Food was average. Lovely spa

Lovely hotel for the price, small touches like daily exchange of wet spa robes and towels would elevate even further. Great staff throughout, food very good, on-site parking charge expensive and unusual for the UK. All around a very good experience, would stay again.

This was the perfect getaway to relax and unwind . tranquil from start to finish . Spa was amazing , food was delicious and the cosy king room was perfect in size with a very comfy bed. Staff were kind and always smiling. The only thing I would comment on was the cost of parking. Seems a little expensive

Was really disappointed with our stay , checking in was straightforward and the room was okay. We ordered a drink to the pool and they took over half an hour to arrive. Staff were rude when dealing with this issue. The following day after we left the hotel. The hotel took £100 from my bank account and accused us of smoking in our room when we certainly were not. We were on the down stairs floor with people smoking outside , therefore smoke was coming into our window. When trying to resolve this issue with the hotel. They were uncooperative and unprofessional , they refused to refund our funds. Will certainly not be visiting this hotel again.

nice place, nice people..

A lovely hotel, some lovely staff but a couple seemed to not be having their best day on our arrival, nice spa, great location. Food was not brilliant, no teaspoon on the tray in the room, mirror not well cleaned and torn net curtains. Housekeeping did make up our room but it looked a bit like my 17 year old son had a go at it. This isn't a bad review as it's a hotel that could be a few very small changes from being perfect. Good central location yet quiet enough to have the windows open at nighttime. Two members of staff shone: Ade in the restaurant and Sam on reception, really friendly.

Adult only hotel .parking was ok .The room was clean but standard for the price . Had robes and slippers, bottle of water and tea making facilities. Bed was very comfortable. Staff were very polite throughout the hotel Higher management in the bar should be more active if mistakes are made and not wait for a complaint to be made. The spa was really lovely, but had just too many people and we had to sit on the floor with drinks , which wasn’t relaxing.Needs a bigger sitting area or even shelves to put drinks on . We tried the spa again early in the morning which was much better and quieter . Pool was a nice temperature Treatments were nice and staff were very friendly. Noisy floorboards above kind of spoils the relaxing music. For what we paid, everything was really expensive .

Nice stay. Room was very small compared to others I have stayed at but wasn’t a problem. Car park fee was very high & drinks also.

I knew I'd made the right choice of hotel from the moment I arrived. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, the public rooms were gorgeous and tastefully decorated. Everything looked immaculate and gave a great first impression. I dined in the restaurant one evening and the meal was one of the best I've had in a while. The waiting staff are perfect - attentive but not over-bearing. The spa facilities were wonderful. Overall, a fabulous stay and I'd definitely book again.
