Blackout + Water cut off (temporarily)

The facility is so old and it was not clean(refridgerlator, carpet..) And if you don't stay on 3rd floor which is the highest floor, you cannot open the window freely as other people are right below of your window so they can almost see your room(we stayed at 2nd floor). And as the receptionist was not so professional, we had to wait almost over than 40min standing in front of the reception for check in, he was not able to handle the other customers well but he was the ONLY receptionist there. Considering the price, I will not recommend this venue to my colleagues who will visit Sighisoara. It is not deserve this price.

Goed ontbijt. Geen echt schone vloer. Rest was acceptabel. Beetje vergane glorie. Verder ok.

Left a poor review about the check in process and upon check out I got questioned about it on check out. It just is not a Hilton level of customer service… the conditioner bottle was empty, no hand soap, a smoking patio that was locked. It’s a decent place, just not what I expected. Plus the noise from the road was pretty intense (and I live in a loud city)

I booked a stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Sighisoara - Cavaler through Expedia. Upon arrival, the receptionist clearly told us that we did not have a reservation and that the hotel was fully booked. Showing her the booking confirmation from Expedia did not change her position. After some discussion with the receptionist — who was not helpful at all — we were told to contact Expedia ourselves to resolve the issue and find another place to stay for the night. We ended up calling Expedia five times, navigating endless automated menus before finally reaching a real person. In the end, we had to find a new place to stay late at night on our own. Although I received a refund after four days, I would never book with Expedia again. It cost me a lot of time and energy to fix their mistake.

The room was Ok. The water in the pool was quite cold. Te food was not great and the service in restaurant must be improved.

The staff just don’t seem bothered or professional, the room was dated but happy overall, just very dusty above picture frames etc, the breakfast was terrible? For a hotel like this, no hot buffet present, burnt croissants, hardly any choice? I’ve had two star hotels with better breakfast, the Hilton Hampton in Cluj breakfast was amazing how can two hotels be so different in the same chain, it really was so poor.

The hotel has surprisingly slow internet in the rooms, and the level of room heat seems to be controlled by the front desk. They have the heat at 28 degrees. You have to open a window if you want to cool down and get up in the night to close the window, then repeat the process if necessary. These are fixable technical problems; I hope they get to them soon.

La chambre est vestuste, l’équipement de façon générale (communication impossible avec la dame du SPA qui comprend pas l’anglais), le petit déjeuner laisse plus qu’à désirer …

Easy to park. Clean room. Decent breakfast.

Rooms are filthy with multiple stains, no sound proofing so you will not sleep well.
