Wonderful stay for 8 nights , very clean, tidy spacious room. Felt very welcome from start to finish. Car parking available front and back of the property. Excellent breakfast and very freindy and pleasant host. Would stay again and definitely recommend

The bed was comfortable. It’s a nice place to lay your head and a walking distance to the beach. Had a peaceful time.

We stayed in the sea-view room on the top floor and it exceeded our expectations. Great view, clean, modern and comfortable, and impressed with the fridge, choice of teas, iron and fan. The WiFi was fast and reserved parking was easy. The breakfast was very delicious and we received top service. We also ordered the breakfast ‘to go’ bag on the second day which was efficient and thoughtfully put together. We had a sausage sandwich with fruit, yogurt and a juice. It was close and a short walk to the town centre. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived and would like to thank the owners for their brilliant service.

I cannot say enough nice things about gecko's rest the couple John and Amy that run it were so lovely and friendly and helpful the place wasn't just clean it was immaculate all everything was upgraded brand new we just had the best time I would recommend it to anyone I speak to. The little town was a 5 minute walk with plenty of dining options and shopping and things to do right on the ocean absolutely beautiful little town. They had a beautiful little terrace out front where you could sit after a long day of being a tourist have a glass of wine watch the sunset was lovely.

I really recommend staying here. Lovely clean b&b, helpful owners, central to everything. I was a woman travelling by myself, I felt safe & when I had an issue with my tyre they were happy to help. Beautiful scenery on the doorstep and a lovely little town nearby

I can't find any fault with this establishment whatsoever we had the classic room with king size bed with sea view clean tidy and very comfortable breakfast superb so good I've booked for next June i would highly recommend a stay.

Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war gut. Das Frühstück war super. Man hatte die Gelegenheit im Speisezimmer den Kühlschrank zu benutzen und auch dort mitgebrachte Speisen zu verzehren. Auch konnte man sich Getränke und Snacks aus dem Kühlschrank nehmen, auf eine Liste eintragen und am Ende des Aufenthaltes bezahlen. Gerne würden wir wieder kommen.

Very friendly and helpful owners. They were in touch pre-arrival and were there to welcome us on the day. The room was modern, clean and comfortable with a view over Newquay to the sea. A comfortable bed, good shower, good Wi-Fi and an excellent cooked breakfast.
