​We recently stayed at Gateside Guesthouse and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful atmosphere and the beautiful, well-manicured gardens. It truly feels like a quiet sanctuary in the heart of Hilton. ​The Highlights: ​The Warm Welcome: A huge thank you to Magda and Mandy(helping with last minute sewing suppliesl! Their hospitality really sets this place apart. They are incredibly attentive, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and well-cared for throughout our stay. ​The Rooms: Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and elegantly decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home. ​The Setting: Relaxing on the patio overlooking the garden was a highlight. It’s the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a quiet sundowner. ​Whether you are visiting for a school event or just need a getaway in the mist-belt, Gateside is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back, thanks in large part to the fantastic service from the team!

The guesthouse is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was very clean and well stocked with basic amenities. I would highly recommend it.

The room was beautiful and so clean! I loved the huge bathroom and private kitchen area! Bed was so comfortable and huge! And the view was stunning! Enjoyed our stay thoroughly:)

Our brief visit was of utmost comfort. We were warmly received and Penny went beyond her means to ensure that we had a ground floor cottage. Will always cherish our visit.

2-person room was smaller than expected, but very comfortable. Heater and electric blankets were a nice addition for wintertime! Beautiful views as well. Parking was a bit tight with the property being fully booked out that night, but made a plan, and it all worked out fine.

Stayed at Gateside Guest house for 14 nights. The accommodation is fantastic and the staff in particular are to be recommended. Very friendly and helpful. The B&B is close to the Quarry shopping centre. The views from the accommodation are stunning. I would certainly recommend staying here.
