Standard size bed, so be careful if you are tall/wide; not suitable for wheelchair users as dining room up narrow stairs; little shelving in bathroom; breakfast period limited (7.30 -8pm). Good points - free Wi-Fi, honesty bar, extra pillows/ duvet in room, very quiet location.

Very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfasts and generally a comfortable place to stay. Having a guest fridge and being able to heat your own food instead of eating out every evening was a great facility.

Lovely stay. Room had everything you needed and was clean. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts were friendly.

Room is very basic. Breakfast is basic. Nice chef though, came specially to apologise for the limited options. In general the B&B is overrated extremely overpriced. Not happy at all that I booked it

Nice room, quite area. Swimming pool could do with draining and jet washing as the stains are abit of putting. Didnt smell or feel like chlorine levels are kept correctly, especially when its used for childrens classes and we all know what children do in the pool. Sauna was ok, gap in door not fully sealed shut. Probably wouldnt use facilites again but would stay again as the room and breakfast was lovley. Nice priced mini bar open up to all guest with alot of trust put into you as the quest to help yourself and write down what you take. Overall good stay if your going to have a pool and sauna to use you may be dissappointed as of right now. Some easy changes and maintaning could change that.

Cannot fault our recent stay, Property is very clean and tidy, room recently refurbished to a standard above most of the premium hotels I have visited .Owners very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble, breakfast was cooked fresh with a very good range of options.Pool complex was also clean tidy and very well maintained, water temperature was very comfortable, no shock to the system as you first emerge.Location of property seems a bit out of town, but in reality is only 5 min drive to harbour area or £5-7 taxi.Wifi is quick and free, streamed TV worked fine. There is a Pub and local shop within 100yds of propery but did not visit on this ocassion.No need as there is a honesty bar stocked with all the drinks and snacks you could need at very resonable prices.

Nice cosy room with en-suite. In the middle of nowhere, not really much to do. Breakfast was ok, however, we didn’t get offered tea or coffee.

View was lovely the room was very clean everything we needed i had my 9 month old son with me the hotel provided a cot too very welcoming. We were there for a family funeral we had use of iron and board too also swimming pool. Nice peaceful area will be staying again .

Really lovely clean and tidy place, love the honesty bar, dog friendly which was great, no fuss style and presentation. Some open space around the corner so great for the dog to have early morning exercise. It's at the top of a big hill, so be prepared for that before getting into the centre of Whitehaven. Would highly recommend.

Nice place, with really friendly owners, the pool and sauna was a nice addition and got to use those one night when I wasn't working. the hot tub was out of order, but will definitely stay there again.

Really enjoyable stay. Great welcome from friendly owners. Comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Great views over the town and good suggestions on what to see and do in the area. Good weather was a bonus!

Beautiful B&B with lovely bedrooms and a fantastic pool which kept the children occupied for hours. The hosts were really nice and the cooked breakfasts were delicious.
