Breakfast, was okay

Loud music playing until 1am on a Wednesday night. Peeling paint on the walls, cracked plaster, damaged door frames and toilet that doesn’t flush properly. Breakfast alright

Had the continental breakfast was the usual stuff . Pastries and fruit were fresh and the usual toast , cereal and yoghurt. The staff are really friendly . The rooms are clean but i found the bed really uncomfortable.

I was nervous about this property having booked in a rush and not having read reviews. However upon arrival I found it easy to park and a lovely entrance with beautiful character features. The ladies in reception were friendly and welcoming and they upgraded me to a superior room which I was very pleased with. The room was fantastic with lovely comfortable bed, large tv and walk in rainfall shower. It was overall very clean but some dust around bedframe. The only thing I’d have changed was the size of the towels; I’m not a big person but do prefer a bath sheet not a small towel and these just seemed very small.

Good sized room, Good continental breakfast included. Welcoming staff, free parking.

Room clean and well appointed. Had asked for ground floor room as I have mobility issues but not given but was immediately changed when asked about this. My friend was also changed so that we had next door rooms. I was cold during night but following morning was given extra duvet and maintenance came and showed me how to alter heating control. I had highered the bathroom floor heating instead of the room. Lovely continental breakfast. Very satisfied all round.

Room was clean, bathroom was outstanding. Service was polite and helpful.

The staff were amazing. The hotel is warm and clean. I visit the area on business regularly and I will make it my regular place to stay from now on

Excellent helpful staff and good room. Continental breakfast very good. No meat but plenty of cereals, fruit, pasties and toast and jams. Certainly recommend.

An exceptional hotel for the price. My first room was immaculate but the matress was soft and lumpy. The TV didn't have all the channels available, and although I wouldnt nirmally I went and told reception. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful and immediately changed my room to an upgraded room at no extra charge. I stay here overnight for work every momth, and will continue to do so.

The first too we were allocated was dreadful. We didn’t realise how it bad it was upon arrival as we just dumped our bags then went out to meet family not returning until after midnight when realised how dirty the room was and the dreadful state of the mattresses one of which had blood stains on. There was nobody on the desk so we packed ready to vacate the next morning. My teenage daughter was distraught but we had to make the best of it and use the spare duvet to make her as comfortable as we could whereas I didn’t sleep a wink. I was downstairs at 7:30 am and spoke to the day staff a lovely chap who was most apologetic and showed me the room next door to ours which was perfectly acceptable who could not explain why we were out in 316 where I would not expect my dog to stay when room 317 was a clean room with decent beds?

From when we arrived, the car parking was good with plenty of spaces. The staff were welcoming and very friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a deluxe room which was great. The room was spacious with excellent facilities. I would definitely stay here again.
