Fantastic breakfast selection , very friendly and helpful staff .

Excellent, loved everything about our stay. Great position close to river and town centre. Very warm welcome, room 10 was really nice, large and decorated in a funky Darwin theme, with a great view of garden. Breakfast was really nice with a great choice, all staff really friendly and looked after us well.

Couldn't ask for more, we had 4 female cyclists riding around Shropshire on ebikes and the Darwins Townhouse were so helpful in every aspect, storing the bikes, etc. Rooms were beautifully decorated and lovely beds, superb breakfast as well. They also had lunch in their sister property which was very good. Will certainly be using again. Many thanks

The staff was always available to help. The room and hotel was clean and comfortable and decorated in a really nice quirky style.

Really nice room close to the center. Parking right next door. Staff was very friendly and everything was spotless clean. Our room wasn’t big enough for our luggage, but I don’t know which room I booked and I didn’t mind. Great welcoming place.

Check-in was easy and staff were very helpful. Room was very spacious and clean with excellent tea and coffee products. Location is vey good, just a short walk into the town centre. Would definitely book again when visiting Shrewsbury.

Lovely room, very well equipped. Only negative, shower water pressure not very good. Hotel offers excellent amenities, loved the honesty bar for those who don’t wish to venture out of an evening. Breakfast in the morning was superb, amazing selection of continental products and the cooked offering was delicious.

The staff were lovely and a lot of effort has gone in to making this a lovely place to be. I had an okay stay but I am not sure the garden rooms quite live up to the reviews. They are quite small and you can hear the room above quite readily. The shower was also not remotely powerful. But a pleasant stay. I get the impression I didn't quite get the most of what the hotel has to offer as I stayed with my dog and they aren't allowed in the main building.

Great hotel in convenient location. Upgrade from garden room to a room with king bed and coffee machine was ok, but they had run out of coffee pods anyway. The room was nice and characterful.
