Overall I would go back, but know what you're going for. Is it the best hotel in the area, no, does it fit a purpose and provide a good base for you to plan, go to nearby beaches and have actives, absolutely. Get the breakfast and go out and explore. Would come back

I stayed at this hotel in Crete and the experience was truly excellent. The property is beautiful, well-kept, and always clean. Everything works flawlessly, and you can feel the efficiency and attention to detail in every aspect. The staff deserves special recognition: professional, helpful, always cheerful, and attentive to guests’ needs. They not only carry out their work with great competence but go above and beyond, showing a friendliness and capability that are rarely found. It is clear that the hotel is managed with great care and passion by an excellent management team, which successfully conveys high standards to the entire staff. A stay I highly recommend to anyone wishing to experience Crete with comfort and top-level hospitality.

Just spent 10 days at Vasia Ormos Hotel and had a wonderful time! We arrived close to midnight on our check in day due to a late transfer and were welcomed by a very friendly member of the reception team who kindly showed us to our room and then informed us that the kitchen staff were kind enough to save dinner for myself and boyfriend which was a lovely touch after a long journey. The food options at dinner and breakfast throughout our stay were plentiful varied each evening meal. The hotel itself is very clean and our room was immaculately cleaned everyday with new sheets and towels daily. The staff were always friendly, welcoming and helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay. The hotel is quiet so perfect for a relaxing pool holiday, the beach opposite the hotel is small and quiet but lovely for a change of scenery. If you’re looking for more atmosphere, Amoodi beach is highly recommended and within a 10 minute walk towards Agios Nikolaos - you’ll need to book a sunbed (which comes at a charge for the day) but the atmosphere is great, complimented by welcoming staff and great food! The lake of Agios Nikolaos is around a 20-25min walk from the hotel if you’re looking for an evening out with plenty of restaurants and bars with plenty of options on the way. Depending on how much you’d like to see of the area, I’d recommend to hire a car - we did this via the hotel which was very quick, easy and reasonably priced.

I just had a wonderful 12-day stay at Vasia Ormos Hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. This hotel has the most friendly and most attentive staff I have ever encountered.They take care of every request immediately and go the extra step for you! Beautiful and bright rooms and very clean. The snack bar opens right after breakfast which is very convenient. The garden is just amazing and creates a soothing atmosphere, and the view on the little bay is something you wish you could take home. I am planning to go back there...

Dejligt hotel, særligt hvis man ikke har noget imod den 30 minutters gåtur til centrum af Agios Nikolaos.

we spent 10 nights our welcome at 3am in the morning was warm , friendly and helpful and check in was quick. the rooms are immaculate and roomy .this is a lovely hotel but could be fabulous with just a few tweeks . could do with music round the pool and perhaps more going on in the hotel on a night time . the staff are lovely and very helpful. food was on the whole lovely and plenty of choices . hotel is in a beautiful location .

Le personnel est très aimable. L’hotel est un 4 étoiles aux normes Grec. Les buffets sont variés et bons. Les piscines sont agréables. Dans la douche il n’y a pas assez de pression, donc si vous avez les cheveux long il est impossible de se rincer les cheveux. La maintenance est intervenue, mais le pb à persister. La salle de sport est impraticable, j’avais sélectionné cet hôtel principalement pour ce service. La plage n’est pas super belle, a qq kilomètres les plages sont nettement plus belles. Avec mes critères de sélection, je ne recommande pas cet hotel.

This was the second stop on our honeymoon whilst on Crete and we really enjoyed staying in Agios Nikolaos at Vasia! The hotel isn’t right in the harbor, but if you’re interested in the pool and beach amenities on site plus being able to walk into town it’s a really great location! It’s about 15 minutes by foot to the start of the shops in town but very pretty and there’s a beach club in between to stop for drinks/snacks that we also loved. The staff was very friendly and left us a very sweet note + bottle of wine as a congratulations when we told them we were there for our honeymoon which was greatly appreciated! All in all for the price I’m so glad we stayed there and definitely recommend the sea view room which overlooked the town and harbor!
