쾌적하고 편안한 호텔이었음

We came from the United States during Oktoberfest and picked this as a lower cost alternative to the high price rooms near the Wisen. It was about 20minutes from the airport at $44USD during busy times and only 12minutes at $46 Euros at 4:00am when we took a taxi back to the airport. This hotel is right next to the Erding rail station on the S2 line. We used the S2 to go into Munich for the Wisen. Hint, connect with the U6 line at Marienplatz and get off ay Poccistraße station to end up right at the south entrance next to the Ole Wiesn part of the Oktoberfest grounds. It’s a lot less crowded at that end. The hotel had everything you need, was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I used them to arrange a Taxi for an early morning pickup since. Erding has a really nice quaint old downtown that is close by and was great for grabbing dinner the evening we got in. Overall, a great hotel and a fair price.

Hotel was quiet and peaceful. Did not hear other guest from our room. Room was clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. S-Bahn across the street. Very easy to get into Munich city center. Bedroom had fan that worked awesome and kept me comfortable all night (I run hot) Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a great buffet with a good selection and was very tasty. Would definitely recommend and would book again!

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden, alles war sehr sauber, das Zimmer gemütlich und das Personal freundlich. Außerdem waren es zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten in die hübsche Innenstadt von Erding. Für alles andere befindet sich ein S-Bahnhof und Busbahnhof in direkter Nähe. Schade ist, dass die Hotelbar "nur" bis 22 Uhr geöffnet war - aber das ist eher eine persönliche Priorität, da wir tagsüber unterwegs waren und erst gegen 22/ 23 Uhr in das Hotel zurückgekehrt sind.

Loved the room and beautiful balcony! Breakfast was delicious! Close to downtown for restaurants. Beds were super comfortable. Would stay there again!

This is my 5th stay at the Kastanienhof. It is located conveniently across S-Bahn and bus station, short bus ride to the airport. The room was lovely and clean. I absolutely love their buffet breakfast, so good. The hotel is a short, pleasant walk from the beautiful old downtown with a great variety of restaurants and shops. Kastanienhof is my go-to Airport Hotel.

Ansich ein schönes und sauberes Hotel mit guter Lage zu Bahn nach München . Einziges Manko, wenn ich eine Zimmer als Ehepaar buche will ich keine Besucherritze im Bett. Das ist nicht der Standard den ich 2025 von einem 4 Sterne Hotel erwarte Mit freundlichen Grüßen R.Werthmann

This was a lovely hotel, about a 20 min drive from the Munich airport. Modern, comfortable room. Helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast (added cost). Easy to park and walkable to a very cute town square with many dining options. Didn’t go to the bar but it looked like a cozy space too.

Tres bon sejour. Le buffet petit dejeuner est tres bien garni, le lit est tres confortable. Rien a redire.

Great hotel, very conveniently located to the Munich S-Bahn. Great breakfast selections and very friendly staff. Parking garage with elevator connection was very convenient. Easy walking to town center restaurants etc

Great basic hotel. Not a very good option if you just need a place to sleep on a layover in Munich. Taxi/Uber each way is 40€. If I were to do it over I would look for something much closer to the airport. But a great hotel with Greek and Sushi dining around the corner.

Only one charger for electric vehicle and it cost ~9 eur per hour instead of per kWh. Makes it expensive.

we booked this hotel for its close proximity to the airport and were very pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had! it is in walking distance to the historic old town of erding, which is filled with open air restaurants and shops. it is also home to erdinger brewery which has an amazing restaurant and beer hall. the hotel lobby was a little dismal but once we got up to the room we were very happy. our room was huge and extremely comfortable with everything we could ask for.

Ein guter Aufenthalt

Leider entspricht das Hotel keiner 4 Sterne Bewertungen. Zimmer war gut bis auf das Bad. Duschtrennwand war defekt und dadurch wurde der Boden bis zum WC mit Wasser geflutet. Rutschgefahr! Auch nach Bescheid an der Rezeption wurde der Schaden nicht behoben. Beim Frühstücksbuffet wurden die Speisen vom Küchenpersonal ohne Schutzkleidung aufgefüllt. Auch die Herstellung der Speisen erfolgte ohne Schutzkleidung. Wollpulover und Mütze!. Absolut keine 4 Sterne Kategorie

Insgesamt ok. Gut gelegen für Bahnreisen. Freundlicher Empfang. Bad und Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zur Abwertung führt für mich das unbequeme Bett mit der alten Federkernmatratze, auf der ich wirklich schlecht geschlafen habe.
