전체 평가 및 리뷰 Pivot Hotel Montecasino

체크인할때 벨보이가 짐을 방꺼지 운반해 주어서 1달러를 주었는데 1달러는 부족하다고 대놓고 얘기하더군요. 팁을 안줄까 하다가 가족여행을 망치고 싶지 않아 3달러를 주었습니다. 욕실문이 다 닫혀지지가 않아 방에서 욕실이 보였고 다음날 아침부터 정전이 되어서 체크아웃할 때까지 화장실도 샤워도 할 수 없었습니다. 컴플레인하니 체크아웃 시간을 1시까지 연장해 줬지만 이미 정해진 스케줄이 있어 세수도 못한채 나와야 했어요. 남아공 전기공급이 잘 안되는 것은 이해하지만 5성급 호텔에서 화장실과 샤워를 못하는 경우엔 방을 팔지 말아야 하는거 아닌가요? 로비 화장실에는 다른 사람들이 물을 내리지 못해 쓸 수 있는 화장실 칸이 하나도 없었는데 과연 물없이 어떻게 방청소를 제대로 할 수 있을까 생각이 들기도 하더군요.

it was great comfy hotel overall. there are two things to be fixed. once for the breatfast, there should be more salad. its like im eating only meat and egg and others without any salad. another one is slow wifi and it needs to be faster with more data allowed. almost every hotel provides wireless with indefinate data. but 500MB isnt enough to properly search things in internet even.

Love staying at the Pivot Hoetl. Very safe and staff friendly and helpful. Would visit again .

Well for R6000 a night that is definitly not what a suite looks like, secondly the room looks and smells old. The tv is from 1992 can barely do anything none of the channels work properly.

I use the Pivot all the time when I visit Jhb. The service is aleays good. The rooms needs upgrading as it really still the old style hotel rooms. The TVs are not smart so this makes it even more old school....

The hotel is located within the Montecasino complex, and therefore is safe to walk around within the complex. There is also a small shopping centre with a supermarket nearby within walking distance. Any further than that would with private hire, which is readily available. The hotel has good spacious rooms which are cleaned daily also with fresh bottled water. The breakfast buffet is good with reasonable choice of hot and cold items as well as mad to order egg and omelettes. Service is friendly and very attentive which made it feel at the upper end of 4 stars

Nice hotel if staying in this part of Jo'burg. Plenty of restaurants just across the street.

Room service is a mess if you can get them to pick up the phone. Food is pricey arrived late and was cold. Absolutely disgusting.

The guests received the wrong room type on check-in... where they were placed on the 2nd floor that's all smoking rooms, while a non-smoking room was booked & requested?! Personally, I can't imagine that while in SA one is not allowed to smoke inside buildings any longer, that it is still even allowed to smoke inside hotel rooms as being seen as public places - awful!

The staff are outstanding Tabo and Herman where awesome and so friendly and full of laughter that made our stay extra special The hotel was good and being within montecasino grounds with so much to choose from for restaurants and bars and have plenty to offer for kids.

I always enjoy staying at the Pivot. The staff always makes sure that you feel welcome from check in to check out...thanks

Good hotel with poor WiFi

Excellent and worth it! Staff was extremely accommodating and courteous. The rides to the casino on a cold night were very appreciated and the breakfast buffet was amazing!

Had an issue with the bed on the first night. One of the managers ‘Afrika” promptly sorted it out. Great service. Keep it up.

Was given a smoking room despite me being a non smoker. The room was changed after much negotiation. The new room had a terribly uncomfortable bed which sinks towards the middle. Room was stuffy and felt like it lacked clean air.
