TAP Air Portugal이 한 시간이나 연착되는 바람에 리스본 공항에 늦게 도착했는데 여성 드라이버는 매우 친절하게 맞이해주었습니다. 신트라의 호텔까지 빠른 시간에 도착하였고 언덕과 좁은 골목의 돌바닥 운전에 능숙하였습니다. 리셉션 직원은 무척 친절하게 반겨주며 숙소 시설과 주변 관광지 안내 등 충분한 설명을 해주었습니다. 또한 방도 무료 업그레이드를 해줘서 3명이서 넓게 이용할 수 있었습니다. 호텔은 연식이 느껴지지만 분위기가 좋고 넓고 편안한 침대와 커피포트 등이 있는 주방이 갖춰져 있습니다. 우리를 위한 포트와인도 준비되어 있었습니다. 신트라궁전이 매우 가깝고 무어성도 보이기 때문에 밤에는 라이트업한 모습을 볼 수 있습니다.

장점 신트라 특유의, 자연에 둘러싸인듯한 아늑한 분위기 넓은 방, 방에 딸린 주방시설 채광 넓은 샤워 공간 무료로 세탁기/건조기를 사용할 수 있음 매우 친절한 직원 조식을 아침마다 바구니에 담아 방으로 갖다 주었음 신트라 궁전/관광안내소 바로 옆. 아쉬운 점 하우스 키핑은 따로 없음(요청해야 하는 듯?) 수건이나 물 등 필요한 것을 말하면 잘 챙겨 줌 와이파이 신호 약함/위치에 따라 기지국 안테나도 잘 안 잡힘 신트라 역에서 좀 걸어야 함

굉장히 좋았습니다! 마치 신트라에 내 집이 있는 느낌?! 완전 만족이에요. 아침에 문고리에 빵도 걸어줍니다. 객실 내 네스프레소 기계도 있구요. 아침에는 종달새소리에 깼네욬ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ백설공주인줄..너무 좋았어요.

We arrived late at 11p.m, but a male staff came to the guesthouse and helped us finding our room. He was very helpfull and kind. I would like to thank him again. Also there was homemade bread, juice, apple, port wine, coffee, cheese, milk for free breakfast! which I enjoyed very much.

직원분이 너무 친절했고, 방이 너무 좋았어요! 그리고 모든 시설을 갖추고 있어서 살고 싶을 정도였습니다. 관광지와도 너무 가까운 위치여서 정말 추천합니다!

혼자 쓰기엔 너무 좋은 공간이었습니다. 서비스도 너무 마음에 들었구요. 차를 가지고 찾아가기가 조금 힘들었지만 골목에 주차도 무료로 할 수 있었습니다. 방은 1층이지만 건물로 보면 3층입니다. 경사로에 지은 집이더군요. 숙소는 신트라궁전 뒷쪽에 위치해 있습니다. 조식은 제공하지 않았지만 와인과 치즈, 크래커 그리고 쥬스 등이 준비되어 있고 아침에 문에 빵도 걸어두더군요. 전체적으로 마음에 들었습니다. 딱 한가지 헤어 드라이기가 제공되나 사용엔 문제 없지만 손으로 잡기가 꺼려질 정도로 관리상태가 안좋았다는 것만 감점입니다. ㅎㅎ

The room was small but cosy, quite and good. Also the wifi was good and fast. Staffs are so kind. :)

The room itself was really nice. Good amenities, good location, good price, good communication from the host. However, the AC unit was filled with black mold, making the entire room need to be continually aired out. This also didn't allow me to use AC at night, causing me to be cold every single night for four nights. Contacting the host about this was quick and easy, but they sent the wrong type of technician over, making the problem unresolved before I left. If this problem didn't exist, I'd easily give 5 stars, but this was an extremely smelly and uncomfortable stay.

Comfortable beds, great location, and easy check in process.

The hotel is located in a controlled area for non registered vehicles. So if you are taking Uber to and from this place, be sure to ask the hotel ahead of time for a “ entry code”. I wish the hotel would offer this information voluntarily. Without the code, our driver had to drop us off about a 10 min walk away and having to haul our luggage, it was not a fun way to begin our stay. The place is relatively good value. We particularly like the clean sheets and towels. The common laundry washer and dryer is a plus but was relatively busy during our stay.

What makes this accommodation a 4-star hotel is hard to justify. Yes, most of the listed amenities were officially there. However, some were seriously lacking. Firstly, the heater did not work. We had to troubleshoot ourselves with the help of office staff who could not resolve the technical issue. We had to cope with using the towel warmer to heat the whole unit for all 6 days we stayed there. Secondly, there are laundry facilities, only one washer and dryer. When we tried to use them, they were occupied and it appeared as though the staff was using them for their own purpose. Thirdly, officially there is parking offsite. Access to it is particularly difficult. Most streets are one-way. If one takes a wrong turn, one has to circle the mountain for 11 kilometers to return to the same place. Even disregarding this inconvenience, to reach the hotel to check in or out was an ordeal. The authorization code did not work. It took 3 different codes for access to be granted while cars lined up behind us. We witnessed others experience the same difficulty with the door access. Other minor inconveniences are too many to list. Why Expedia promotes this accommodation baffles us. We will not return there nor recommend it to anyone.

The QR code system doesn't work well when you're using a car, and often there isn't enough internet, so you don't have access to the historic center of Sintra and you can't enter the village where the house is located.

The apartment was great, very clean, great location! We also loved the amenities- free water and a storage room for luggage should you arrive early or want to stay later in Sintra. If I travel here again, I would stay again!

The room was spacious and full of light during daylight hours. The self-check in worked great and the lockers are a nice option. However, the room needs a thorough top to bottom cleaning and paint touch-up. Also, a few more coffee pods and a blanket would be great.

The room was great and the hotel staff was really nice. I would love to give them five stars but the situation getting to the hotel was such an inconvenience. If you’re taking a taxi or Uber transport from the airport, the only way that the driver can bring you up to the location with your luggage and bags is if you get a special QR code. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the QR code when I arrived even though I requested it and had to walk really far uphills with very heavy bags, causing injury to myself and damaging my bags. The Hotel did make sure to give me the QR code for my exit so that the driver could come to pick me up to take me to the airport so that did make it a little better also the issue with the codes. Sometimes they shut off so if you get in late, you have to call and get it reactivated but outside of this And honestly, even with this situation, it still didn’t make me not enjoy my stay here. The great thing also is that there is a number you can call or someone is available pretty much 24 seven to help right away all in all I’d say it was a great experience and I would stay here again, but I would definitely plan better to make sure that I didn’t have the same issue getting to the actual location from the airport

Room was in bad condition

They need to be more organized with communication between the guests and employees. Lock on our door didn't work, outside door lock failed as well. Outside door was wide open at night till it got fixed. Safety should be a main concern for guests. Room was great though.

Sintra is too difficult for parking/driving in ,I would recommend staying outside the area and taking ubers or taxis into Sintra
