I arrived at the Jeonju Hanok village by Jeonbuk Shuttle Bus from Seoul which dropped us right outside the entrance of the Hanok village. The Laon Hanok Gguljam or Raon Hanok Kkuljam was located around 10mins walk from the entrance (pls look out for signage that leads you into an alleyway) and is near to the omodake site. The owner of the guesthouse was able to speak English and was very kind to teach me how to lock the hanok door from inside and got me a taxi to the express bus terminal when i left. Delicious breakfast is served from 9 to 10am and he makes good coffee for me. I loved the ondol floor, able go adjust the temperature to something that was manageable for me and i enjoyed sitting on the ondol floor doing my skincare routine and makeup, very homely stay. Slept like a baby thru out my two days stay. You just need to keep your volume down at night as the rooms are not soundproof. The sweet aunty who takes care of the housekeeping of the room was very kind and friendly and allowed me to deposit my luggage at the hanok as I reached much earlier than 3pm. Lovely place to stay at.
