숙소도 깔끔하고 위치도 좋고 전체적인 컨디션과 침구도 마음에 들었습니다. 더 오래 누리고 즐기지 못한게 아쉬울 정도에요. 다음에 갈 일이 있다면 꼭 다시 묵고 싶은 숙소입니다.

주인분들 너무 친절하시고 방 청결상태나 주방 욕실이용 모두 만족합니다. 시내접성, 버스 터미널 접근성도 좋아 편리합니다.중간에 오로라 여행 다녀온날 출입문이 안열려서 당황했었는데 연락하니 바로 와서 조치해주었습니다.너무 추운날 눈이 얼어서 고정된 거였는데, 통화로 얘기하지 않고 직접 와서 확인해주었습니다.

일 이층에 각각 5개의 방 그리고 별채 비슷하게 스튜디오가 있었고 성인 3명이 스튜디오 머무름. 단독 부억과 화장실이 있었고 공간이 넓어 음식 해먹기도 수월하였음. 낮에는 사무실에서 근무하는 두 분이 필요한 부분에 친절한 도움을 주었고 햘그림스키 성당이 가깝고 시내 관광 명소가 도보거리 30분 이내여서 매우 좋았음.

매우 깔끔하고 따뜻한 느낌을 주는 숙소입니다. 마치 가정집에 머무는 듯이 편안함을 느낄수 있어요. 특히 키친이 정갈하고 전망도 좋아 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 다만, 욕실이 공용이라 다소 불편한 점이 있지만, 욕실도 깨끗하게 관리되어 좋았습니다. 위치도 도심 중앙이라 매우 좋구요. 특히, 주인분이 너무너무 친절하세요.

On road parking, free always found a space. Check-in out of hours was easy with key left for us.

The room was smaller than what I expected, but there are common areas if you want to lounge in a more spacious area. Since I was on the go every day, the smallness wasn't much of an issue. The kitchen was fully equipped. Each floor's bathroom was furnished with soap, shampoo, and fresh towels daily. Staying warm was not a problem (I visited in early October): The bed was well made and the room was at a comfortable temperature, in fact it could get too warm, but I could remedy that by opening the window. I had a view of the famous Hallgrimskirkja. It was just one street over, which was extremely convenient as it is a major stop for tour companies and shuttle buses. It would take me just a little over five minutes to walk there. The neighborhood was a delight to walk around. I discovered a well-stocked grocery store close by too. This accommodation is self check-in and check-out. I only by chance met someone associated with the guesthouse (the proprietor?) when I first arrived. Otherwise, guests are on their own.

Zimmer klein aber sehr sauber. Gute Lage. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr praktisch: es stehen Fahrräder kostenlos zur Verfügung.

This hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious and it is very quiet. It is also located in the city center, making it very convenient for shopping, strolling and dining.

This a great location in the downtown. The staff are helpful and accommodating.

Will stay here every time we are in Reykjavik. Super convenient to everything, parking is easy and free nearby. They have free bikes you can use and super cozy sitting areas and well stocked kitchens. I cannot express my gratitude enough about how wonderful the owners treated us. They made us feel like dear friends and took such wonderful care of us. This place is a true and rare gem.

great location, clean and great stay!

I loved everything about Freyja Guesthouse & Suites! The property is quiet, warm, and comfortable. You will easily feel right at home. It is a short walk from the central bus terminal as well as Hallgrimskirkja and surrounding shops. The family who runs the place is super friendly, trustworthy, and helpful. Next time I am in Reykjavik, I will be staying here again.

SHARED BATHROOM

At the time of booking, it was mentioned in the description that there is free parking. My impression was there will be confirmed parking for my car. But the reality was that I had to search the free parking in nearby areas around the hotels. There was no parking being provided by the hotel. The description was misguiding. I end up wasting a lot of my time in search of the parking. Additionally, the bathroom was shared, which was not clear from the description at the time of booking. Nonetheless, the reception lady did her best to get me a parking, she really helped although she was a bit sick that day, and I am very thankful for her help. But my issue is the description of the oropis not precise and leads to unpleasant surprises and shocks l.

My friend and I stayed before and after a tour and both visits were very pleasant. The owner was kind, helpful and the room was delightful. I would absolutely stay again. The bus stop was just a short walk away and shops and restaurants were within a few minutes of walking. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommend. We spent our last two days in Iceland here. This is a family owned guest house with owners on site most of the day and adjacent at night. They are so nice and fun to talk to. We loved our stay in a spacious 2nd floor king size bedroom with lots of light. Rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floor with a kitchen and bathroom on each floor and then an attic lounge with another small kitchen and full bathroom. We found it easy to access and use the shared bathrooms. The attic lounge has two nice tables. Free coffee/expresso machines and a large selection of teas on each floor and the host provided free orange smoothies for breakfast that were delicious. The Host also helped us find the free (on street) parking in this busy city right adjacent to the guest house. They have beautiful bikes for touring the town, but we just left the car parked and walked everywhere. This location is about a block away from the landmark Hallgrims Church, and all of the main city down to the wharves and docks is easily walk-able. Everything was super clean and nice. Thank you.
