Wonderful!

Beautiful resort with wonderful views of the beach. The staff and restaurant were great. Perfect place to spend a few days.

One of the best places we have been. Excellent service and the food at the restaurant was just amazing. The views are incredible. This is a very special place that we would gladly return.

I would go back there in a flash! 2 balconies in my room and both had great views!!

Beyond amazing experience. Highly recommended. There is so much to do: beach, jungle, monkeys, food. Spectacular!!!

Amazing place

Accueil parfait. Hôtel très bien entretenu. La vue sur la rivière et la mer est incroyable.

The spa was excellent. Maria gave an amazing massage. The pools and views are incredible. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating!

Estuvimos 6 dias en Lagarta Lodge y nos la pasamos super bien.... no habia visto personal tan amable como en este hotel la verdad, muy serviciales, la comida es restaurante super bien preparada, riquisima la verdad mis felicitaciones al Chef que tienen.... fue una estadia espectacular la verdad mis hijos, mi esposa y su servidor nos la pasamos super bien...excelente e inigualable experiencia, regresaria sin dudarlo, lo mejor de nuestro viaje de 2 semanas a Costa Rica ....mis felicitaciones a Dilan, David del restaurante asi como a Daniel y Samuel y a los demas chicos de la recepcion.... Lo unico feo y peligroso es el Mar la verdad, mejor ni meterse, ir a conocer y listo, nadamas.

Everything was perfect. The views are almost too good to be true. We had a momma monkey and her baby napping just outside our balcony .

What a wonderful hotel! I can’t imagine a better place for our family to spend a week. We loved the views from the restaurants and pools, and especially from our room (gorgeous vistas over the jungle and monkeys swinging in a tree just off our balcony.) Our room was beautiful and so comfortable and well appointed. Staff is amazing. We enjoyed the beach below the hotel, the jungle walk, the yoga studio and the bird walk. We also drove to area beaches and restaurants- but were always happy to return to our oasis on the hilltop! I would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing stay! Views were spectacular, but even better was the friendliness of the staff!

Perfection

Gorgeous location. Fabulous hotel, restaurant, pool. Small and very quiet. Jungle setting, suburb views. But - not on beach if that is important to you. Difficult 15 minute walk (although there is a shuttle) and no beach amenities like chairs. Fabulous long quiet beach though

Lodge is up on a hill, views are spectacular. Be ready to walk uphill and climb stairs to your room though. Best for active guests.

People on the phone are terrible I won’t visit Again

Beautiful property, great staff, yummy food. Stayed for 7 nights with the family. Very relaxing, lots of cute animals and birds. My daughter just was missing a good ice cream place and i with my hubby would have loved if resort would have had a good coffee place on a property.

We had an amazing stay at Lagarta Lodge.It is really a five star boutique hotel. The location is perfect next to a wildlife preserve and the views are gorgeous of the ocean and the preserve. Everyone on staff is so friendly and very attentive. They are what makes it a great hotel. The room and terrace were quite large and had a beautiful view. There are two lovely Infiniti pools and the main restaurant and rooftop sunset bar and restaurant were open air with great servers. We also visited the spa for a deep tissue couples massage and it was one of the best ever. We will definitely visit again!!
