Great location to explore Shoreditch! Great rooftop bar & restaurant!

From start to finish first class from check in to Check out. Lovely staff very helpful & friendly nothing was to much trouble.suprise upgrade of room for my husbands Birthday. He was delighted. Breakfast was first class everything catered for, & the roof top Breakfasr room was a lovely setting. For any meal . Will definately be staying with Montcalm Hotels next time in London

the air conditioning is controlled by the front desk and there was no bathroom light that was by the bed which was very strange

Honestly could not recommend this hotel enough, the staff were incredible and offered help at all times, discounts and were so friendly. Went above and beyond! We’re already planning our next trip back.

Everything was absolutely excellent. I just realised now on my card that they havent released 200 gbp....

I absolutely love this hotel, I’ll always stay here for at least one night while visiting London. The staff is kind and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, and things like heated bathroom floors and the Prosecco they offer you when you arrive, makes the experience feel very luxurious. It’s so hard to find a nice hotel in London that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. This hotel is proof that this type of experience exists!

a fine hotel

There was no milk provided in the room. For the breakfast, they forgot my bacon, the beans were very watery and alongside the toast were unfortunately cold. They also forgot my partners coffee. The spa was lovely though.

Excellent staff and facilities

Such a great hotel, will return for sure.

It is a nice hotel. The staff are friendly. However, it is not a 5 star hotel. The staff are not professional enough and things do not work properly. It is a tired four star hotel at best. The welcome was chaotic - with the staff not able to organise queues so the whole situation became uncomfortable. The rooms are old and need modernising. At breakfast - the person seating people was stressed and panicked. There was a 10-15 minute wait for coffee as their machines weren’t working but this was not told to us until we asked where the coffee was. The eggs Benedict was awful (see photo) - the muffin was rock solid and the sauce was anything but luscious. It just seems that they need to provide more staff and train those staff in proper customer service. If you want a nice hotel this is fine. If, however, you are looking for a luxury hotel - this is not for you.
