Beautiful spot! The owners and their pups were wonderful! The rooms were great! Anyone who stays here will be glad they did!

Friendly hosts, clean room, peaceful!

Just an overnight stay, The motel is dated but clean. Would stay again. The laundry is only open 4-10pm which was inconvenient as we needed to use it in the morning.

Very friendly and helpful staff, room was clean, shower/tub could use some updating but other than that the overall room was great!

Motel de transition, grandeur parfaite, mais il manque de propreté autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'exterieur...Mais j'ai vu pire! Excréments de chiens sur le terrain. Piscine froide, et je n'ai pas apprécié le rideau de douche rose au bas...ca m'a inquiété pour le reste. Les gens fument sur leur balcon ayant un gros pot de plante comme cendrier (un endroit dédié aux fumeurs serait super) La vue sur le lac en face est belle! Et la propriétaire avec ses deux gros chiens gentils sont bien accueillants.

Beautiful stay!! Rooms are squeeky clean and modern with all ameninities, and every room has a beautiful view. The place comes with a pool too! Staff is super helpful and friendly

My partner and I stayed here while exploring Cape Breton and it was the perfect location, very central to get to either side of Cape Breton. It was exactly what we needed and a relief to have a wonderful spot to come back to after long days outside! Our stay was clean, comfortable, there was hot water, a/c, a small fridge, cute view, and friendly and helpful staff, we would 100% return again!!

Fair Isle is a little gem. I love its elevated location overlooking the water. When I checked in Christiane at the front desk was absolutely lovely!!! She was so friendly and kind and gave some tips on where to grab a quick bite. Also loved meeting Oliver the dog, he was adorable and friendly. She had adjusted our reservation to give us a family suite which was amazing!! the space was so great, my teens loved not having a share a bed for a night on our trip. lol The room was clean and spacious and perfect for the four of us. The property was clean, and safe. We didn't use the pool because we checked in late and left in the morning but it looked great! Would recommend a stay at Fair Isle Inn to anyone traveling the area!!

The location is ideal to explore the Cape Breton The lake view from the rooms is so beautiful, and the stuff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

Older motel and facilities. Seemed reasonably clean and ok for a night passing through. Major downside is the dearth of dining options around; we would have had better vibes driving a little further to Baddeck.

Stayed here for one night prior to doing the Cape Breton Trail. Manager was extremely friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and well kept, Each room actually had a little kitchenette area and dining table.
