호텔 주변으로는 관광지 또는 쇼핑몰 같은 시설을 없었습니다만, 도보로 5-8분 이내에 지하철역이 있어 이동하는데 있어서 불편함은 없었습니다. 저는 일단 휴식을 위하여 선택한 료칸이라 너무 만족했습니다. 가이세키도 큰 기대없이 갔는데, 너무 잘 대접받아 음식을 먹는 동안 료칸에서 쉬는 동안 너무 편안하고 좋았네요~ 여행 중 쉬어가기를 원하는 분들께는 더없이 좋은 선택이라고 추천 드릴 수 있을 것 같습니다.

Beautiful ryokan on a quiet street with excellent and kind staff. Traditional breakfast and kaiseki were delicious. Close to transportation to major sites. Walking distance to Nishiki market. When we return to Kyoto we will stay again. Highly recommend.

Beautiful yutone in the heart of Kyoto. The dinner was the best meal we had in Japan. Loved the cypress bath and gardens at night. Arigatou gozaimasu!!

Upon entering, Izumi was so welcoming and upbeat giving lots of positive energy. The atmosphere was quaint and beautiful. The Kaiseki dinner was delicious and well paced. The breakfast was so delicious that we finished it all in 15 minutes. The room was spacious and clean. The bath was so soothing. We enjoyed our short time here and the wonderful staff.

La nostra esperienza è stata ottima. Molto bella la camera, spaziosa e ben arredata. Un elemento particolarmente apprezzato è stata la vasca in legno. La nostra formula prevedeva cena e colazione in stile giapponese, entrambe di altissimo livello. Viene fornito anche uno yukata (disponibile in diverse lunghezze) da indossare nella struttura per rendere l’esperienza ancora più autentica.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Ryokan in the centre of Kyoto. We also chose to eat at the restaurant, simply fantastic food! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this small, beautiful ryokan. They are in a quiet neighborhood next to a school so it was fun to see the kids on the playground when we came back in the afternoon. The ryokan is clean and very well maintained with a large cypress bathtub and a calming library with books, a go board, couches and even a small secluded area with a couch and sitting chair. The food was amazing. We had the steak dinner set and you can add extra steak for a small fee although, as it turns out, it wasn't necessary. Different delicious dishes (and many of them) every night beautifully presented. We were very full. Kudos to the chef. The service was outstanding from the receptionist to the hostess at breakfast/dinner. I was sad to leave and would absolutely stay again if I went back to Kyoto.

The staff were so helpful and very polite. Their service was excellent and they did everything to make our stay pleasant. We did our honeymoon here, and they made it very special. And the food that they provided was extremely delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The staff were so wonderful and friendly which made such a difference especially since we dining at the property as well. The entire facility and rooms are very nice, well decorated, and the cedar tub in the room is especially nice. A wonderful and authentic Japanese experience.

We wanted to try a traditional ryokan. We opted for the half board plan. Dinner and breakfast were great and quite plentiful. Location was quiet and room was large with a private bath. Great amenities
