The staff were excellent. Dave was very informative and helpful. The location is great, close to shops, great walks, historic museums and all transport links. Small and intimate boutique hotel.

The location is great, especially if you are coming in on the train and/or visiting the historic dock area. The hotel is literally across from the train station and 50 yards or so to the entrance of the historic port area, with the HMS Victory, Mary Rose Museum,Naval Museum, etc. Even though an old building, it had an elevator, which was great since we were third floor. The included breakfast was a full breakfast of eggs, beans ham and/or sausage, etc. Also available were yogurts.the staff were pleasant and manned the desk 24/7. The only downsides were 1) the pillows and gray carpet in the bedroom, and 2) the small size of the room. The carpet looked like it needed abit of cleaning. And the pillows were somewhat old. Because of the convenience, we might stay here again, though.

This bed-and-breakfast is wonderful. A very cute hotel with a very nice breakfast. The location is fabulous. Only a block away from the Portsmouth historical Harbour area which includes the Mary Rose Tudor ship Museum. Located across the street from the train, bus station, and the ferry terminal if you want to go to the Isle of Wight. It’s an adult only property so you have to be over 21 to stay there. I highly recommend it.

Great location for the Harbour and Dockyard and all transport. Very reasonable rates, well-presented comfortable rooms. Friendly helpful staff, generous breakfast.

Breakfast menu was fresh, room was refreshed, towels changed every day! I did not bring a car so did not use parking! I came by train and hotel was acroos the road from the station!

Perfectly placed for ferry and site seeing Lovely clean rooms

Whilst everything was responsibly clean,some things where a bit dated and needed some tlc. Bed linen and towels where good quality. Staff where helpful and pleasant.Breakfast was lovely and plentiful.Parking was also a bonus. We had a harbour facing room,view to the right was of Warrior and dockyard,view to the left was Spinnaker Tower,train,busy bus station and taxi rank.So quite noisy with windows open which we needed with warm weather. We did however see that fans where provided in rooms for warm weather, we preferred to have some fresh air.

Location is excellent, the staff are great , bed are a little bit hard but otherwise nice place

Conveniently located across the road from Portsmouth Train station and a few minutes walk from Gunwharf Quay and Spinnaker Tower, perfect. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was neat and tidy, towels, body wash and shampoo were provided. The harbour view out the window was beautiful, and with breakfast included, not continental but fully cooked breakfast, all the works. It was all amazing and we will definitely be staying here again...there's also free parking around the back of the hotel. Thank you!!

The staff are great, so helpful. Perfect location just over the road to the Historic Dockyard. Easy parking behind the property. The room was great, excellent shower, comfortable bed. All very clean. Breakfast was very good, well prepared with good quality ingredients. Would definately stay again. Perfect for a two day visit to the Dockyard.

Amazing cooked breakfast - fresh with lots of choices, great shower, lovely large bedroom with harbour view, parking at the hotel, hotel in great location for both shopping and viewing historical places of interest, all staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

All the staff from the Reception staff, waiting staff and cleaners were friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was amazing. We had on site parking which was so handy. The location is perfect for shopping and visiting the historic dockyard. Totally recommend staying here.

Very friendly and helpful staff.. room was spotless , breakfast was excellent and one of the best .. parking was an absolute bonus and would definitely return here for sure
