Communication was a real problem. Confirming arrival time had to be done multiple times as they didn't seem to register. They make the check in time later than I wanted and I had to wait around. Then the host didn't show, I had to phone, costing lots as I hadn't bought a local sim yet. She had been told a 2 hour later check in than was agreed.
While they say they have free wifi, it didn't get sorted for 3 days, it wasn't done by password but by using MAC addresses so had to be set up. This could and should have been done in advance so that any issues could be dealt with by the host but it wasn't. Again, we spend loads of money using data until we could buy a local sim. Also, only 2 devices could be connected.
We only got one set of keys even though 2 of us were staying there. As we often were' together, that was really difficult.
On check out we arrange for a late check out and for cleaners to arrive at noon. They turned up an hour early having not been told about our late check out.
The room was very comfortable and clean and in a really central location.
