The shower temperature was at best, tepid. Haven't ever experienced this in a hotel with a 3 star AA rated hotel. A big disappointment ! Not a very nice guy on Reception last night; he preferred chatting to someone who wasn't a resident than check me in. Again, disappointing. As a lone female, I won't be back, sadly.

We stayed in the family room. Extremely saggy mattresses and old, torn bedding wrapping a duvet that only consisted of exposed synthetic material. Dated decor. Misleading photographs on the website. I was extremely disappointed.

They hid the truth that the room is in basement . Also the hair dryer is almost broken . The receptions were also lack of interest to smile or say hi with you every time when you were in and out .

Quite dated and simple room,but clean. Uncomfortable bed and noisy road outside. I wouldn't stay again.

Did the job for sure! Nice and easy to access the sights! Friendly staff, homely feel. Wish there was a proper bar however, thats my opinion. Recommend to stay there

Hyvä sijainti. Kiva yleiskuva. Huone oli kuitenkin tunkkainen ja vahvasti hajustettu. Kylppäri ei oikein toiminut. Portaat olivat todella jyrkät ja vaikeakulkuiset matkalaukun kanssa. Aamiainen ei ollut hintansa väärti.

Bien situé, charme british, par contre il faut éviter les petites chambres en sous-sol rez-de-chaussée qui sont bon marché mais très sombres.

Absolutely did the trick for 4 nights in Cambridge. Everything about it was comfortable.

Nice and clean, pretty decor, comfy bed, hot cups of tea. SKY Arts on tv, no air con as it's a historical building but they supplied a fan. At the right rate, I will definately stay again.Thank you to Vicky, Andre and Bridget for making my stay welcoming.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on - like sleeping on a rock. When I lifted up the sheets, the mattress was torn on the side and appeared to be very old. When I raised this with the hotel, the answer was "I didn't know it was damaged" and that due to being a hotel they had "firmer higher grade

Had to drag our baggage up a tight staircase due to not having a lift but realise that not all accommodation has this

Unbeatable place to stay in Cambridge. Much better than we expected.

Unpretentious, basic, but friendly, efficient, and clean. A reasonably priced stay and a good, reasonably priced continental breakfast. Cambridge is devilishly expensive, and the hotel was a welcome exception.
