전체 평가 및 리뷰 Detroit Foundation Hotel

The Foundation is a historic building, an old firehouse that has been converted to a hotel. The hotel rooms are decorated in an art deco / mid century blend of decor and there are many original preserved details throughout the property. The terrazzo flooring is in mixed condition and I found it to be very cold. I would've preferred hardwood or carpet. The bathrooms are tastefully renovated and I loved the toiletry items provided (Le Labo Santal 33, which smells amazing). I did not eat at the restaurant, but the ambience was nice and the menu looked good.

The staff was incredibly friendly and provided top notch service. Would highly recommend the stay and the experience. Love that they captured the essence of the original fire house headquarters while making it modern and inviting. Definitely a 10/10 stay!

Went to Detroit as a couple to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and go to an NBA game. This hotel was absolutely lovely with a tasty restaurant in house. It was perfect for a romantic and celebratory getaway and I loved how pet friendly they were! High class but hip and fabulous location and kind helpful staff.

We live in Detroit and spend my husbands birthday at the hotel for the past 4 years. It has everything we like, beautiful, bar, restaurant, quiet, clean, comfortable, well designed rooms, the history of the building is so great, we can walk to everything. The staff is great.

Room and service were truly excellent

This is unique hotel which used to be the Headquarters of the Detroit Fire Department. It is conveniently located downtown next to the historic Guardian Building, River walk and Grand Circus Park Historic District, and Fox Theater. The Apparatus is a great bar and restaurant in the hotel lobby. I throughly enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Wonderful, impressive stay! The hotel was so tastfully renovated. Small details were NOT overlooked. Can't wait to come back.

We were recommended this hotel, we got one of the larger rooms. Overall, I found this place to be quite overrated for the price.

Restaurant and bar are incredible. Building is very unique and the design of every space was considered and executed carefully. Loved the bits of history infused throughout. All staff and servers were so nice. It was just fantastic. I will forever miss that bed too

The restaurant was closed for renovations/restructuring. Would’ve loved to try. Everything else was great. Walkable to coffee and eateries.

This is hands down one of my favorite hotels.
