여기는 료칸과 카페 함께 운영중입니다. .특별지침에 따로 프론트가 없고 전화연락하라고 나와있는데 체크인 시간에 가니 프론트에 계셨습니다. 1층 카페 2층 료칸인데 보통 카페에서 일하시다 료칸손님 접수해주시는거 같습니다. 남자분이 료칸담당이신거같은데 영어로 친절하게 응대해주셨고 카페직원분들도 매우 친절하십니다. 돌아다닌다고 카페에서 못먹은게 아쉽긴하네요..방 청결상태나 화장실도 아주 깨끗합니다. 문열고 코너돌자마자 니시키시장이라 돌아보기도 좋고 교통편도 버스패스로 어디든지 돌아다녔습니다. 다음여행때도 다시 묵고싶네요

방청소는 별도의 요금을 지불해야 했는데 청소요청 안하면 수건도 매일 스텝에게 달라고 해야했음

일본분위기가 물씬 나는 곳이어었습니다 후기에 직원들이 불친절 하다고 하여 걱정했지만, 서툰 영어로 친절하게 안내 해줬습니다. 겨울이라 잘때 히터를 틀어도 조금 찬기운이 있엇지만 잠에서 깰정도는 아니었어요. 단점이라면, 옆방에서 말하는 소리가 다 들린다는것과 침대가 매트리스가 조금 단단하다는것 그리고 다 망가진 헤어드라이기는 교체가 필요해보였음 중심지 역에서 가까깝고 근처에 상점과 시장도 있어서 위치도 괜찮았습니다 가격대비 방 크기 욕조 전반적으로 만족스러웠음

Tres bien situé Chambre assez grande , belle salle de bain… lits un peu fermes.

アメニティの置き忘れがあったり、部屋が少し埃っぽかったり、お風呂のカビが気になりました。パジャマが無いことを記載して有れば良かったです。 お風呂の排水口の臭いなのか、トイレの臭いなのか、部屋の臭いが結構気になりました。後は車の音が結構気になりました。 立地は言う事なしに良かったです。

Cozy rooms and convenient location. The hotel is situated in top of a bar but we did not hear any noise.Staff were super friendly. Good location for exploring the Gion area.

綺麗で過ごしやすかったです。 チェックアウト時間が遅めだったので、ゆっくりできました。

部屋の雰囲気が良く、階下の賑わいさえも中世の宿屋に泊まっているかのようで心地よいです。 無駄を省いた設備・サービスも好みでした。 水回りのカビなど、清潔さは微妙だったり 従業員さんによって対応の良し悪しが全然違ったりはしますが、 遅くに着いても美味しいご飯が階下ですぐ食べられて(翌朝にはランチも)、場所も三条河原町近辺で、これだけ使い勝手の良い宿はそうそう無いと思います。 こだわりの寝具が揃っていることも、嬉しい驚きでした。

Great location for my needs. The place is almost like self serve place. No 24/7 desk and you use own key pads to get in and out. They take cash only.

Cute room, I loved the soft ambience from the paper lantern lighting in the room. The bathroom was nice, especially the spacious bathtub. The view is of the alley so it is fairly quiet. It's located above a cafe (you have to take stairs to get up to your room), so there is some soft jazz music you can here in the evening, but they close at 10 or 11, i believe so it wasn't bothersome when sleeping. I didn't get a chance to eat at the cafe, but you get a discount there if you are staying in one of their 5 rooms. For check in, I just talked to the staff while the cafe was open and they checked me in, the description says there's no reception, but they do have a desk although it might be un-manned sometimes. They speak limited english, but i got by just fine. The staff doesn't enter your room at all, so if you're used to room keeping, you have to explicitly asks for that and it costs extra. There's also a laundry machine available that you need to ask to use. Besides the amenities, this place is located within walking distance to Nishiki Market which is a great place to grab some street food, it's also walking distance to the train and the teramachi shopping arcade which i recommend you visit and pick yourself up some woodblock paintings and a yukata or kimono for gifts. One other thing, there is a 7/11 at the end of the block so it's easy to grab replenish your cash at the atm or just grab some last minute snacks.

Good location, friendly staff, laundry facilities. A gentle introduction to more traditional Japanese style accommodations. They don’t enter your room during your stay, consequences are, if you want a towel change you have to ask... if you want your room cleaned (because you messed it up) you have to ask and have to pay extra. If you generate a lot of garbage you have to take care of it. Rooms are on top of a functioning cafe, so there is low level background music ... I think until 22:00hrs, it was NOT disturbing. Cafe food is just OK but lots of options immediately around that location. I spent 8 nights, it was easy to adjust to. Highly recommended

The room was lovely only marred by the cafe downstairs having music on a 30 minute loop. The cafe food was very good.
