The hotel was excellent, especially considering the very reasonable price we paid. Although an old building, it was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. We also had a room with a sea view, and the hotel was 2 minutes walk from the lovely promenade. The lady that checked us in was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also very convenient for the Channel Tunnel. Highly recommend.

Excellent value for money, staff polite friendly, really good location.

One of the best things about Folkestone is how peaceful the seafront is, because there are no cars racing along it. The Westward Ho is in a dream position, with stunning sea views, calm and quiet surroundings, and gorgeous walks along the undercliff into central Folkestone and the harbour. Our room was good, though the shower and the sashcord windows were a bit ropey and needed a bit of attention.

Friendly welcoming staff, bright, clean room, with lovely view. Great location for Le Shuttle.

Close to the beach, good location. Breakfast was included in our room which was convenient. you can hear the other guest sometimes from above rooms. Unfortunately, there were loud noises from the above room past midnight

Sehr netter Empfang, tolle Umgebung und Unterkunft. Nichts zu bemängeln. :-)

Het pand ligt op een uitzonderlijk mooie locatie en aan een rustige straat. Onze kamer had direct uitzicht op zee! Tussen het hotel en de zee ligt een mooi park. Op 10 min. Lopen ligt een mooie speeltuin voor de kinderen. De ontvangst was supervriendelijk. Het ontbijt bestond uit brood, muesli, croissants, etc. De matrassen lagen niet erg lekker. Op het tweepersoons bed waren de veren duidelijk te voelen. Als je hier meerdere nachten op moet liggen dan is dat niet fijn. Wij waren er voor 1 nacht.

Breakfast was ok but beds were like camp beds, carpet was dirty and TV/internet didn't work. We were only there for one night and I wouldn't return.

Literie très inconfortable, beaucoup d'éléments endommagés dans la chambre... En revanche la vue est incroyable. Le petit-déjeuner est moyen, l'option de parking "privatif" n'est absolument pas plus sécurisé que la rue.

Hotel bien situé, personnel accueillant, propre, la vue sur mer est genial, petit dejeuner continental pas mal du tout (large choix), on peut se garer facilement dans la rue (payant), on avait réservé une chambre de 5 et nous n'etions pas les uns sur les autres. Petits points negatifs quand meme: les murs sont fins (bruit de télé...), literie pas top et douche pas toujours facile a regler.

I would stay at this property again. It was very comfortable and clean. We were able to walk to a very nice restaurant and a beautiful park. The staff were very friendly and check in was easy.

Slow check in despite ringing to inform we were on our way. Beds creak and are uncomfortable. Noise from neighbouring rooms. No hot water and poor cold water pressure. Overall quite poor unfortunately.

There was a mix up with our room whereby someone else had been given it before we arrived although they hadn’t used it at all. The only problem with this is that the couple who thought they were in our room and had gone out for the evening arrived back and came into our room at 12.15am. The hotel staff had done their best to contact them during the evening but to no avail they even put a note on the door to tell Them their new room number but they even missed that. Everything else was fine though friendly staff and clean rooms albeit hot as the windows wouldn’t open very far. I would stay here again

We only needed somewhere for one night on our journey to France and it was fine for what we needed. We got a nice family room which was very clean. It also wecomed dogs which we needed. Basic breakfast and a little run down in parts but good location.

Great place for our stay. They even left our breakfast outside our door as we were leaving early for our channel crossing. Thank you much apreciated.

It was a great stop off with a room for 5 of us which i found difficult to find elsewhere. Room was very clean and well presented. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakgast is continental with lots of options. There was something we all liked. Great walking spot particularly as we had our 2 dogs this was a particularly good feature.

The room is in need of a refurbishment, bathroom very small and sink is not in the bathroom! Extra £8 per night for parking.
