Very welcoming and kind. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom, big and clean. The bar/restaurant served excellent food and drinks. Delicious! A little out of Thurso but worth the drive.

We stayed here as part of our journey from Land's End to John o'Groats. Lovely welcome from the owner with use of a locked workshop for our bikes. Great to have a tasty evening meal there too.

Small country inn with friendly hosts. Rooms were clean amd comfortable. Breakdast was delicious. Ate in the bar on the evening amd the Venison casserole was famtastoc, especially followed by the fudge amd whosky cheesecake. All the food was freshly made by Craig amd Heather. Extensive range of local whiskies that are worth a look at.

This was our best accomadation on the NC500

Wir waren auf Durchreise mit unseren Fahrrädern dort. Sehr angenehme Gastgeber, hilfsbereit. Zimmer hat alles was man benötigt, sauber und komfortabel. Abendbrot in der Bar im Hotel war super, genau wie das Frühstück. Klare Empfehlung.

Homely, family-run inn offering excellent bed and breakfast. Our room was comfortable and brightly decorated and had an en suite shower room. Breakfast was excellent. We also dined at the bar/restaurant adjoining the B&B, which offers a good menu of delicious food prepared and cooked on the premises at reasonable prices. The bar is well stock with a wide variety of drinks.

A wonderful place to stay for anyone traveling along the north coast, whether by car or by bike like us on the NC500 and our way from Land's End to John o'Groats. Lovingly furnished rooms, spotlessly clean, a small bar full of character with the chance of very good food in the evening, equally good breakfast in the morning. Craig & Heather, the owners, take care of everything. We can highly recommend the Strathy Inn

Een geweldige accommodatie die door eigenaars echtpaar gerund wordt. Alles tip top met geweldig naar eigen keuze ontbijt. Ook na 18 uur bar en restaurant geopend waar je prima kan eten voor redelijke prijzen. Een aanrader!

The location is very nice in the middle of the NC500 North Coast with a lot of interesting places around to be discovered. Mrs and Mr Frost are very kind. The room was very clean and the breakfast excellent!

Nice stay and very friendly host. We were running late, but that didn't matter. Prawn / Fish Cakes were very good.

Everything about the place is unique, seems to me. The hosts, Craig and Heather, are the best. The food (and whiskey) cannot be topped. It is located right on the most stunning, rugged, beautiful coastal area I have ever seen. Of course, you need a car, and more time and energy than you probably have, to enjoy it all sufficiently.
