The hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful, and the location was perfect.

horribly noisy. room was set up for 1 person. stairs just to get to reception. no chairs on our balcony--other had chairs. stinky "BO" elevator. shower with no place to put soap or towel. 1 star hotel at best.

The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to navigate the area. We were fortunate to have a view of the Acropolis right from our balcony, which was a highlight. The room we stayed in was unique, spacious, and clean, though there were some minor challenges, like the lack of a curtain in the bathroom. Despite that, it was a very pleasant stay overall.

The hotel was in a great location, and the room was huge and well appointed. The staff was pleasant and helpful with transfers from the port and the airport. Unfortunately, our entry door was unable to lock, meaning we didn't feel safe leaving our luggage unattended, and we found bed bugs in our bed.

Love the view from the balcony and the staff was great!

Attentlon si vous avez une chambre côté rue, musique a fond jusqu a 4h00 du matin ! On a pas dormi. Puis cloches a 7h30 . Impossible de dormir. Dommage que lors de notre arrivée on ne nous ai pas conseillé puisqu il y avait des chambres disponibles de l autre cote. Nous sommes tres decus

If you’re looking for a place to just sleep this is it! It’s right in the middle of shopping and dining establishments. In walking distance of the areopagus. However the bathroom was SMALL and the sink wasn’t attached to the floor. But the staff was great!

We started our Greece Honeymoon here at Emporikon Athens Hotel and we had a wonderful stay. Vicky the host helped us get settled and even helped cover our taxi fare when we didn't have cash and the driver's card reader was broken. The location cannot be beat in the center of Plaka. I would highly recommend this hotel for a classic Athens experience.

Very clean, spacious room, location is the best in the heart of everything, staff super helpful

The Executive suite had such a great view of the Parthenon and the room was a good size. We loved that it was in Monistiraki which is right next to restaurants, bars, etc. Great location for night life and convenience, along with walkable location to the Metro subway. The staff and manager were super accommodating and friendly. We also got free water bottles and drinks to take with us wherever we went.

Liked the service. The place is a bit worn. They still have old fashioned single use soap and shampoos. Should switch to refillable ones.

Check in was great, and the location is amazing with a lot of shopping and dining options around. However, had to move to a different room the second night, as my first room woke me up in the middle of the night with water leaking from the ceiling all around the bed. They couldn’t move me that night as the hotel was full and had to sleep on a cot, which was quite uncomfortable. However, they upgraded me the next day to a suite with an amazing view. Unfortunately, there is also a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms as well.

The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to everything. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. What really sets this hotel apart is the team. They are amazing, so helpful and thoughtful! Would definitely stay at the Emporikon again when in Athens.

Pros: Good location, walking distance to acropolis and shopping center. Safe neighborhood. Balcony has acropolis view. Cons: There’s a restaurant below the hotel that plays loud music till 1am everyday.

Our stay was amazing! We stayed in Athens for 2 nights before flying out to the islands for the rest of our honeymoon. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The location was amazing! Walking distance to pretty much everything you’d want to see! Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The best part was the staff! Everyone was so helpful and kind. They helped book transportation for us, gave us a ton of restaurant recommendations, and we’re just overall amazing.

This place was reasonably priced and worth every penny! The area is safe and near all the shops and eateries! You are near the Plaka, Little Kook, and all the places you want to be. Easily walkable to the Acropolis we didn’t need a taxi at all here!
