Really beautiful hotel, converted from the home of a religious order. lots of public space, especially in the cloister and the chapel which is now the dining room. We had a spacious room that had a private patio. The staff were super nice and helpful and the food was great.

Cant say enough about how wonderful this hotel is. Beautiful.

It's a brisk walk (15 min) from the train station and a short (uphill) walk from the main shopping street. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was awesome. I highly recommend!

First time at a Paradore. Very impressed. It's a delightful building with first class rooms. The atrium is amazing and a great place to relax with a coffee or drink. It's very convenient for the center of town and the old castle and cathedral.

Lovely stay, breakfast was fantastic. Found dinner to be mediocre and over priced though. More than one iron needed for a hitel of this size!

L'hotel est très sympa, dans un ancien batiment avec des voutes tres sympas. le petit dej est bien aussi. mais le quartier est detestable, vous sortez de l'hotel, vous tombez direct sur me tiers monde, un quartier délabré, avec énormement d'insécurité. et ne demandez rien au personnel, j'ai oublié une gourmette dans la chambre, j'ai demandé à ce qu'on me l'envoi, on m'a dit non, nous envoyez un UPS. Pour un 4* à 165€ la chambre, on s'attends à un autre service.

Hotel is great but the area is terrible. Only place that I’ve felt unsafe in Spain. We got there in the afternoon and try to go for a walk

Great building in a bad location.

Bonito parador, personal amable y buen desayuno buffet. Habitaciones cómodas y patio interior y restaurante preciosos. El barrio ahí ahí, si sales a la derecha, está la calle principal, todo correcto. Pero si sales y subes la calle, el barrio es regular, nosotros salimos a cenar y no pasó nada pero entiendo que algunos vayan intranquilos.

Beautifull building, excellent location

The Parador itself is absolutely stunning and truly deserves five stars. Beautiful property, excellent facilities, and the level of comfort and service we expect from a Parador. Inside the grounds we felt completely relaxed and well cared for. The immediate surrounding area felt a bit less polished and not as safe as expected, but once inside the Parador everything was exceptional. Overall, a wonderful stay and a unique experience.

Das Hotel hat eigentlich 5 Sterne verdient. Aber die Umgebung ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sehr viele "Männer" streifen umher, Müll liegt herum. In der Dunkelheit sollte man die Gegend besser meiden.

We did not have breakfast, but the breakfast appeared to be very good. The bar menu offered some very tasty light meals, which we tried as the restaurant was booked out with a big function.

Room maintenance was neglected--the hair dryer was broken (defective plug), multiple lights did not work, and there was no climatization (either air conditioning, heating or dehumidification cycle). There was no functioning ventilation in the bathroom, and the bathroom door did not close entirely due to what appeared to be years of water damage, which had resulted in peeling and swollen veneer. The proximity feature on the key cards also did not work, necessitating paging the reception to get admitted into the garage.
