Really cheerful and helpful staff. Clean room if a little dated. Fresh milk on offer for the room which was great. Staff kindly arranged early check in so we could change for a wedding.

The dinner and breakfast were lovely, the bacon was crispy, just as requested. Staff were polite and helpful. Car park access from the road was challenging due to being blocked by queuing traffic. On site car parking was limited but we managed. The spaces are not sufficiently wide for your modern Bentley, but we have not yet placed our order, so it was not a problem.

Villiers looked like they were trying to improve and remodel things. The dining room and gym area were great. The room still needs work but okay.

Dog friendly rooms are on ground floor. These aren't comparable to other standard rooms, but charged at same rate plus an additional £20 cleaning charge. Our room was basically furnished with painted plain MDF wardrobe in corner. Window was open in all these rooms presumably to help with smell. Carpets we're stained and smell was very noticeable when windows closed. Despite these comments to reception, we were still charged the additional cleaning fee.

It was ok but as I booked online wasn’t expecting a £50 hit to cover damage as soon as we went to book in also we mentioned we might have breakfast but got charged at around 3 in the morning We did get our money back but think it’s a bit harsh that they just take it overnight

room was like a dungeon, load noise from the speak outside and air con unit. every time someone entered the building the door slammed. room was underneath the main coriander!! don't stay in room 003!!

Brilliant stay at the Villiers Hotel. We received a room upgrade and found ourselves staying in a Duplex Suite. The hotel was spotlessly clean, staff all kind and caring and very well trained. Hotel room was spotlessly clean, spacious and very well heated during the cold spell we were experiencing. The hotel was very well maintained and presented quite a quirky and interesting persona. Breakfasts were promptly presented with an excellent range of cooked choices. Always a free parking space available during our stay in the covered courtyard. Will certainly return again.

Room was amazing however breakfast was very disappointing the fried slice was extremely greasy the bacon was burnt the sausage was too spicy. I left most of it and so did the gentleman across from me and at £12 it’s an expensive throw away.
