Suited our purpose. Was only average accommodation but that was reflected in cheaper booking fees. Ant infectation and blocked shower drain was a shame but solved later. However very quiet road position and easy walk to beach.

Stayed here a few times on motorcycle trips. Suits our requirements.

Nice layout, fantastic balcony and had a very enjoyable 2 night stay. Easy 2 minute access to Ohope beach a bonus.

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, loved the access to a stunning beach just a short walk away.

Spacious unit. Comfortable. Stayed here several years ago and is becoming a bit tired. Had a musty smell

If we went back to Ohope we would be happy to stay there again

The Aquarius is the perfect place to enjoy OHope beach (amazing) and the whole area. Just steps from the beach! Thanks for the restaurant recommendations! We really enjoyed the port area too! Very comfortable & well stocked room! Highly recommend!!

Was really good, nice and close to the beach. Check in was quick and easy. Nice, clean and simple which is good for a motel. Solid all round, will definitely stay again if in the area.

The owners/managers were lovely and friendly, big plus. As soon as the lady noticed I was with my child she wondered if we'd appreciate an upgrade to the back of the property to be away from the road and entrance of the motel. This accommodation is a stone's throw from the beach! Unfortunately, it's not very soundproof, this of course depends if and who is in the upper apartment, sliding door, talking, toilet use were easily heard. We were very happy with the thoughtful and free upgrade but I have to honestly say that the place we stayed in could do with a big good spring clean inside and out on the terrace.

Very good location next to the beach. Quiet area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bathroom need an extractor fan for condensation after shower. Very hot showers watch for the kids, there’s no tempering valve on the hot water cylinder. Nice room space overall with coaches tv and everything to feel at home. Brand new cookware.restaurant walkable

Friendly welcome on arrival. A couple of little things needed seeing to and were dealt with quickly an with a smile. Will be very happy to stay there again.
