호텔주변산책하기좋았구요 생각보다조용했습니다 공기도좋고~~ 내집처럼아늑하게쉬다왔어요 다음에가도이곳으로가고싶어요

Room, Breakfast and staff all great!

We booked because we were going to enjoy dinner on the terrace with some music entertainment as advertised on their website. Unfortunately this was a mistake and should have been removed from the marketing. Katie was very helpful and as we couldn’t cancel the booking she arranged for a reduction on our meal cost. Our meal was lovely, plenty to choose from. The room was acceptable, big comfortable bed. We were on 2nd floor so it was hot and the fan was ok but minimally effective in cooling the room. Bathroom was standard. Tea tray was great with good sized mugs and plenty of milk sachets. We were woken too early by people in the room next door allowing their room door to slam. Breakfast was great with plenty of options. Hot, tasty and well presented.

Stayed for one night. Very welcoming. Lovely position by the river. Good food. Would stay again.

I think the bar manager was a bit stressed & i am not used being told at 9.24 the bars closed as they have started clearing up.He did furnish us with drinks & let us sit outside but put a slight downer on an otherwise nice stay

Friendly staff in this hotel, food excellent and varied. Lovely big bedroom, comfy beds with vintage furniture, bathroom could do with a bit of a makeover. Superb view looking over the river with the swans and ducks. No lift in the hotel so I did struggle with the stairs.

Disappointing first bedroom 203 the bed was like concrete. Then the second bedroom 108 the show was broken. Why did hotels insist on putting you in their worst rooms if you book with Hotels.com, and forget the room upgrade if you are a gold member.

Had a great stay at The Embankment! Was met by the very enthusiastic Bethany who made check in a real pleasure and gave us some local recommendations which turned out to be fantastic! Room was clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee was of a high standard, as we're the biscuits! Bar area had a really good vibe and all staff we met/viewed were friendly and professional. Well done all, would definitely stay again.

The check in was slow as there is no one permanently on the desk. The parking is very limited.

Perfect location opposite the river and 5 minute walk to the town centre. Good service but very busy so quite often no one on the reception area.

Was unable to stay in the same room as had to book second night separately. Luckily the second room was far superior though I paid less money. Will not stay here again

Staff seemed exhausted and every time I needed something they took a bit of time getting to me. Once they did, they were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The toilet had brown stains at the bottom of the bowl and there were questionable deposits around the bottom of the shower. The room was very warm and the windows could not be opened. I commented that my room was hot and I was told it was an old building. A fan was provided, but leaving it on all night did create a fair bit of noise. However, the bed was comfortable and the tea and coffee provided were good. The food in the restaurant was good, and a walk along the river in the evening was pleasant. So overall, not bad for a room in pub.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Fluss. Geräumige Zimmer und gutes Frühstück. Sehr empfehlenswert !!

Fabulous stay, the hotel is lovely with friendly and helpful staff. Our room was really lovely overlooking the river, with a large comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Good size room and very clean, good room amenities.

The location is lovely as you can walk along the canal. However, the room was very warm with no way to adjust the temperature. A fan was provided at bedside. The toilet was running when I first entered and I couldn’t get it to stop. Front desk clerk was very nice and helped me upstairs with luggage as there is no elevator. The restaurant was too busy for good service. Food was mediocre.
