It was very pleasant staying. Every single person of the facility was very nice and there was not any difficulty to communicate in English. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic, exceeding my expectations. Bathtub in the room was pretty spacious, probably enough for 2 persons. It was around 15 min from Hakoneyumoto station by walk but the path was quite tough to carry some luggages. It would be good to take a shuttle or a bus.

방이 아주 깔끔하고 잘 관리되어 있어 좋았습니다. 객실에 딸린 노천탕도 깨끗해서 만족스럽게 이용했습니다. 식사도 전반적으로 맛있었고 양도 푸짐해서 좋았습니다. 한가지 단점이 있다면 숙소로 올라가는 경로에 상당한 오르막길이 있어서 (체감 경사 20도 정도) 캐리어를 끌고 걸어 올라가기가 제법 힘들었습니다. 하코네유모토역에서 호텔로 가는 공용 셔틀버스가 있지만 한시간에 거의 한대꼴이기 때문에 이용이 다소 힘들었습니다.

Ryokan itself is ok. A little lack of infra when compared to a hotel. Had to go to a CVS to have a coffee by walk. Kaiseki(Dinner) was not as good as I expected with a very little amount of raw fish.

동남아 풍 의 일본식 여관 입니다. 음식도 실내 장식도 동남아 냄새가 풍깁니다. 직원들의 일본어는 알아듣기 힘든 일본말입니다. 음식은 인도네시아 식인과 같습니다.

전체적으로 추천합니다. 하코네유모토 역과 가깝지만 갈때 짐이 많다면 버스를 추천드립니다. 역에서 언덕으로 올라가야되는 구간이 있어서 짐이 무겁다면 버스이용하시고 괜찮다면 걸어가셔도 될 듯 합니다. (도보 10분내외) 그리고 가이세키가 매일 다른음식이라 어느날은 맛있고 어느날은 도전해봐야 하는 음식들로 나올때가 있으니 금액 추가해서 샤브샤브나 스테이크로 드시는걸 추천드립니다. 아침은 양식,일식으로 나뉘어져 있는데 둘 다 맛있고 다이닝룸으로 가서 먹는데 조용하고 프라이빗합니다. 고급일식집 간 듯한 느낌이였어요.료칸 내부는 인도풍이 섞인 퓨전식 료칸이고, 요이불 깔아줬던 방에서 묵었습니다. 티비에서 넷플렉스 가능하고 개인온천이 각 방마다 있는것 같아요. 대욕탕은 이용하지 않았습니다. 개인온천 만으로도 충분했던거 같습니다. 직원들은 상당히 친절하고 외국인 직원들이 많습니다. 대부분 영어로 대화했고 매우 친절합니다. It was from July 19 to 21. I recommend it as a whole. It is quiet and close to Hakoneyumoto Station, but if you have a lot of luggage, I recommend a bus. There's a section where you have to go up the hill from the station, so if it's heavy, you can take a bus and walk if you don't mind (about 10 minutes' walk). And since Kaiseki is a different dish every day, I recommend you to add the amount of money to your Shabu Shabu or steak. Breakfast is divided into Western and Japanese food, both of which are delicious and go to the dining room to eat and are quiet and private. I felt like I went to a fancy Japanese restaurant. The interior of the Ryokan is a fusion Ryokan with Indian wind, and stayed in the room where the fire was laid. It's available on TV. I think there's a private spa in each room. I didn't use the bath. I think it was enough to have a personal hot spring. Employees are very kind and there are many foreign employees. Most of the time, I talked in English and he is good at it. I felt good because it was so kind.^^

역하고 멀진 않지만 숙소까지 가는길이 오르막길입니다. 숙소에서 나갈땐 괜찮지만 들어갈따 짐까지 있으면 조금 힘드실수도.. 그외 숙소도 깨끗하고 좋아요.

Wonderful traditional style hotel, onsen in the balcony, central location, beautiful area close to all the great sightseeing.

The property is beautiful, private balcony with private onsen were AMAZING! Room was comfortable and well laid out. That part is definitely a 5*. The staff were friendly, mostly helpful, but not so much if you got there early. They did take your stuff, but didn't help with directions on how to catch the bus or where to walk. The food is where this property lost a star (I'd give it a 3, maybe upper 2). The dining area is beautiful and peaceful. The actual food needs some work. The first course was set out 10 min early and was meant to be warm, we arrived on time and it was cold. They proceeded to bring out each course in rapid succession and we had a ton of food in front of us. Not a proper kaiseki meal. As we dug in the food was ok, how they managed dry fish in soup is beyond me. I'd stay here again - but would skip the food and enjoy it in town instead. One other note - if you stay here know its at least 30min away from the lake and the majority of the Hakone Loop. So I'd suggest accounting for that in your time planning.

Awesome stay

Hakone Airu was an awesome place to stay and such a relaxing experience. The rooms are beautiful and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The private onsen on the balcony was honestly insane and easily the best part of the stay. It’s a really cool mix of traditional ryokan vibes with modern comfort. Just be warned it’s a steep climb up there from the station and it’s about 800m walk

Incredible experience and one we’d recommend anyone going to Japan to experience. Food is incredible, very thoughtful and a fantastic experience. You can’t guarantee every course will be to your taste, but there are enough options that you will still be satisfied. The staff have put such care into your experience, it’s amazing. Rooms are stunning and onsen experience is wonderful. The highlight of our Japan trip - thank you!

The food was absolutely delicious and the portions left us very full. It helped a lot as we burned calories with our different adventures.

職員非常有善，酒店設計美麗。 令我深刻印象的是房間（昂，4/f) 裡的私人風呂很好。 早餐在2樓 又會按預訂房間分隔個室，好有私人空間。

Clean, spacious room with your own private osen, too bad I didn't know they serve their breakfast from 7:30-11ish, I wish they have put the time somewhere on their booking page because I had to leave at 7am to catch my train and I didn't have a chance to eat the breakfast that came with my hotel booking. I feel sad for missing out on that.
