The Agriturismo L'Airone was a very nice place to stay during our trip through Italy. The food in the morning was very good. The location was beautiful, the gardens were beautiful and the staff in the morning was wonderful. But there were some complications during our stay. It would have been great to know that one of the main bridges was closed on the way to the hotel in advance. We had to travel nearly an hour out of our way to backtrack and go another way through a complicated rural set of roads. By the time we got there, it was 9PM so we had to pay to turn on our phone service to make a phone call to be able to access our hotel room, since there was no one at reception at that time. Once we got in the room, the bed for my 11 year old son was missing the wooden slots so he had to put his suitcase under his mattress to support him. So it was a tough evening, but they made up for it in the morning with their friendly staff and their location and gardens were so lovely. I would recommend this as a good place to stay with your family.
