This hotel was fine, a basic hotel. Clean and okay standard. There is no reception on the ground level. You have to carry your luggage up two stairs, as there is no elevator. The room was quite warm. After 10 p.m. you had to press the doorbell to get in. Also, they don't serve breakfast, so that was a minus for me.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. They have real AC which was much appreciated in the heat wave. Great central location.

Air conditioner worked great! Very comfy beds. loved it!

When we first walked into the hallways, we thought they looked a bit like a dorm. But when we went into the room, we were impressed. Large rooms, well kept and clean. Our only issue was the A/C kept going off and we woke up hot. But the temps were around 30C and they might have been working too hard.

Staff was great. Room had a great street view with large windows. The location is perfect for site seeing and transportation. Restaurants, pubs, entertainment all next door.

Friendly and helpful staff, a fan was placed in my room before arrival which was considerate as this was the hottest day of the year so far. Amenities were fine, room included an ironing board and iron, small fridge, TV with great channel selection and lovely L'Occitane bathroom products. Linens and towels were clean. There were a few things that could be improved though - the air conditioning unit leaked when in use and long after use, and the bed had been pulled away from the wall to allow for the leak to drip onto the carpet (although some still did drip onto the duvet). Some items such as the TV remote and the iron weren't very clean. The toilet seat had fallen off one of its hinges and some of the bathroom tiles had large cracks in them. The sash windows could be opened, but there was no way of keeping them open without holding them. I'm used to small UK city centre hotel rooms but the room was extremely small for the amount paid - not great value for money. Bed was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep, plenty of hot water in the morning - overall satisfactory but a few things that could be improved.

Hyggelig, romslig rom, god seng og stort bad. Veldig bra beliggenhet, midt i sentrum. Veldig "value for money". Vær obs på kun trappe-adkomst. Kommer gjerne tilbake

The property showed as a 4 star hotel but didn't deserve a star. Narrow 2 floor staircase to access registration which didn't have staff until you rang a bell and someone came from another property. Excellent location for touring Oxford University

The staff was extremely helpful & courteous - especially Nimita. There was an endless supply of cans of water, all other beverages & even packets of milk for the instant coffee.

Convenient location but quite noisy right on the high street

This property is conveniently located in the city centre and is easy to access from the train station by foot or bus. The rooms and bathrooms are large, the only downfall is that there is no lift and the reception isn’t properly manned… you have to press a buzzer and a staff member from another hotel has to get into the building to serve you. I ended up waiting 10 to be served.

Great location, count with steep stairs as you get to your room. It was very hot in the room (in mid-April) and the AC control was unconveniently located at quite a distance from the bed area, around two corners and no remote control was provided. The amenities were basic,
