숙소는 일반적 호텔같은 편안함 보다는 외국느낌의 숙박시설 나쁘진 않았습니다~ 리셉셔니스트가 중국분이었는데 친절하지는 않았는데 왠지 주인같이보이진 않아 평가하기는 뭐하고 다음날아침 식사하러갔는 그분이야 말로 주인같아보였음 엄청친절하시고 식사도 매우훌륭했습니다~ 맛도있고 무료아침식사먹고 팁놓고 나오기는 처음 ;;;,

Great historic old mansion. Nice staff, great breakfast and overall a nice staff. Only quibble is the noise from the next room. They were enjoying life

Breakfasts were lovely and plentiful, parking was easy and convenient! Very impressive heritage building, but all the flights of stairs too difficult to manage. We only had a bathtub, which was pretty inconvenient. Decor needs upgrading. Rachel, the manager, was so lovely and also very helpful.

Check in was easy, room was very clean, and the breakfast was amazing every morning!

It’s a beautiful property. The house was built in 1885 so in need of some maintenance but it is full of lovely architectural details and antiques. The breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed our stay, my only complaint was the bed was very hard.

Overall I had a wonderful time. The breakfast was incredible, the property is wonderful. I have no complaints at all, except there were a few things in the room not clean. There was a dirty hand towel on the washroom floor, a long black hair on one of the hand towels by the sink, a lot of toothpaste residue on the shelf above the sink and 4-5 small black hairs inside the bathtub. Also, the jets in the bathtub didn’t work, which wasn’t a big deal but disappointing because I was looking forward to using it

Everything about the amethyst was top notch, the decor, the staff and the breakfast. We felt royal while there.

My wife tell me the breakfast was excellent. We knew nothing about a hot tub. Two grievances, their ad did not mention the low ceilings or the only heat for the room was a baseboard heater between the head board and outside wall.

The hotel is a one of a kind! The staff are super friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Rachel was especially hospitable. The breakfast was initially somewhat disappointing due to being used to open buffets, but the more we stayed, the more we enjoyed it and it's varieties.

Very unique experience, will definitely come back.

Our room bordered on opulent with all the incredible furnishings and we very much appreciated being given a main floor room. Large rooms, tall ceilings. Hot breakfast with a superb fruit parfait starter were superb. The staff are very welcoming. On a lesser note, cable TV offerings were very limited for those interested in such and the bath room which was large, clean and delightfully finished (but without a step-in shower), had a large, set back (built in) jacuzzi tub that was and will be a real challenge for anyone with any mobility issues (both my wife and me). Steps and/or grab bars would be a good safety addition.

The old claw foot tub was a bit difficult to navigate with a hand-held shower but can't complain because it added to the charm!
