숙소는 일반적 호텔같은 편안함 보다는 외국느낌의 숙박시설 나쁘진 않았습니다~ 리셉셔니스트가 중국분이었는데 친절하지는 않았는데 왠지 주인같이보이진 않아 평가하기는 뭐하고 다음날아침 식사하러갔는 그분이야 말로 주인같아보였음 엄청친절하시고 식사도 매우훌륭했습니다~ 맛도있고 무료아침식사먹고 팁놓고 나오기는 처음 ;;;,

What a beautiful home! Was truly a pleasure to stay in this magnificent old Victorian style house. They were accommodating at check in (allowed us to come early) and even upgraded our room as our previously selected room was not yet cleaned. I would have appreciated more options for breakfast or at least a menu sort of situation so that we knew what was for breakfast the next day. There was only 1 option per day and we didn’t not know what that was until we had the food in front of us.

Beautiful Heritage Hotel!

The entire 4 days was superb. The house was a dream. All staff and owner were very kind, helpful and courteous. Food was plentiful and excellent. We’ll be coming back.

Clean room, friendly staff, love the old-style feel

Our room was spacious, the furnitures and the decorations matched the 140 year old heritage home. The breakfast in the morning was delicious.

This is an absolutely wonderful bed and breakfast, set in an old, but well maintained mansion. We received an unexpected upgrade to the Royal Suite and were blown away by the luxurious sitting room, 4 poster king bed and huge jacuzzi tub. It was so impressive we debated cancelling our evening plans and just staying in the room. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and abundant. We will return here whenever we are in Victoria.

Host was helpful and kind, rooms are clean and cozy, the heritage building is gorgeous, and the breakfast was fantastic.

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is my second time staying at Amethyst and I will continue to stay there each trip to Victoria. I highly recommend this unique, historic Inn.

We love the old world charm of the Inn. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the long bath tub. Will definitely go back.

This was my wife and I first time visiting Canada and we were happy that we stayed at amethyst inn. First off the house and room itself was clean and well kept but just a little dated. Which is to be expected from a house with a lot of history. The staff(Racheal and Serena) were extremely nice and helpful. The best experience was definitely the breakfast! It was a three course meal and the options changed everyday. My wife, who can’t have dairy or potato, was able eat everything they brought out since they were very adamant about allergies. She was thrilled!! Lastly, the hotel is 25 mins east of downtown which wasn’t all that bad to walk. The surrounding area was nice. We didn’t feel unsafe at all walking around. We made a lot of memories and had a great time! We will definitely visit again. :)

Our stay at the Amethyst Inn was perfect for our anniversary weekend. It is such a beautiful home. The breakfasts were amazing.
