Easy walk to tube station. Lots of places to eat within walking distance for both breakfast and dinner

Small room, but perfect for my needs. Excellent communication.

It was in an easy to get to postion from the national express bus station. I would always book again if I was going to wembley , the public transport to Wembley from here was fantastic and cheap.

Satisfatory experience

Our stay was great, the room was really nice and clean, Phil was very nice and allowed us to have a late checkout. Would recommend to anyone!

Spacious family room, we had a very comfortable stay. Quiet location, short walk to the tube straight into central London. Will definitely return.

Executive suite was lovely with decent aircon in this warm weather and the road lovely and quiet. Really liked the area which was convenient for me while studying for a course. Was originally booked in the smallest single room which was equipped with a useful fridge but the aircon was broken and I had not been forewarned, so do check in advance if aircon is important to you. Arranged an upgrade with the manager. Housekeeping was excellent and cleaned the room daily. Easy check in. Nice touches with coffee, cafetière, hand soap. Good parking area. Short walk to Finchley rd and to nearby Sainsburys or 10mins to Coop shops. Negatives were small towels and old (but adequate) bathroom en suites. Best thing for me was the peace and quiet.

Phil was very helpful with all the information and accommodation we requested. We went all around the city and the nearby Golders Green bus and underground station is very convenient.

Very clean, private and close to tube and bus station. Handy having fridge, safe and parking. Air Conditioning was essential during the hottest day of the year.

We arrived early so our room wasn’t quite ready but the wonderful cleaning lady soon had that sorted for us, she was warm and welcoming towards us when we checked in, the room (number 7) was a family room with a super-king and two singles was very spacious, very clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee and a little coffee machine. We visited when it was 30 degrees so the air conditioning in the room was a huge bonus. The guest house is situated in a quiet street in Golders Green with no street noise. There was parking too which was great at the front of the property, with only a 5 minute walk down to the tube station. We will definitely be staying here again.

Easy to find the property. Very clean . Safe area easy access to tube station. Great stay and Phil the owner was very efficient at responding to messages. Plus our room was ready by 12pm. So we could check in early. Free parking was a bonus too. Thank you . X

Nice guest house on a quiet suburban street. The room was a very good size, the bed comfortable and the ameneties satisfactory. About 10 minutes walk to the underground station. Plenty of places to eat locally. Would happily stay again.

​We had an exceptional stay at Martel Guest House, and Phil, the host, was outstanding. The accommodation was impeccably clean and provided all the amenities one could desire. The parking facilities were excellent, offering a safe and convenient place for our vehicle. Considering the reasonable rates, it's a wonder why anyone would choose to pay exorbitant prices in central London when this gem is available. We will undoubtedly return to Martel Guest House on our next visit to London.

Really good value for money, quiet staff and very easy to contact if any issues arrive. Would definitely stay here again for concert etc.

Convenient and very helpful hosts

Out of the three other places I have been to in the area, this left the best impression on me so far. Clear instructions. Sufficient room space. Full amenities. Useful. International sockets. High res XL tv. Fridge. Excellent coffee machine, etc. Classic for a business traveler such as myself. However, the bathroom isn’t that nice IMO and could be relatively easy to upgrade and turn it into a decent facility. But other than that, I really liked it.

Really beautiful hotel. The owner Phil is incredible and a great and gracious host. Thank you very much! If we ever come back to London we will be sure to stay here again :)
