We have enjoyed a fantastic 2 night stay, the location was spot on only 2 minutes to Lake Windermere and the ferry landing point. Colin is the perfect host, very attentive, knowledgeable of the area and looked after us well. Breakfast was a lovely; full English in a cosy setting. The room was fine with all amenities. It was our birthdays whilst there and Colin decorated the room, these touches are most appreciated. Definitely recommend 10/10

Great location 5 min walk to the ferry. Breakfast was good and free parking was a plus.

Very nice cottage with a very helpful host. I only stayed one night but it was pretty easy to find, on site parking too and the owner was nice and approachable. Good breakfast in the morning too which saw me on my way the next day.

Host fantastic. Breakfast fantastic. WiFi in room non existent. The stairs & landing could benefit from a once over with the hoover but overall a very pleasant stay in a great location for the lake.

Beautiful spot

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Some of the facilities were a little dated and not squeaky clean, but overall good. The host/hotel owner was very friendly and very helpful with helping us find local activities etc. The breakfast was great, tasty food and lots of options to choose from! I would recommend this place, and I would certainly stay again.

A lovely guest house. We were made welcome by the owner Colin from the first moment we arrived. Very clean and cosy. A delicious breakfast. A parking place guaranteed.. Surprisingly close to Lake Windermere. Just a minutes walk.

A wonderful place to stay. Colin our host was very welcoming and was a wealth of information about the local area. An amazing breakfast alway served with a smile. A great place for a get away.

Beautiful cottage in a picturesque spot with parking. Lovely bedroom with good heating and small ensuite. Friendly host and very good breakfast. Coffee was made from a coffee bag so could be improved. The steam train station is nearby on the lake with a good cafe where you can watch the train and get an espresso.

Lovely host, cooked breakfast and location. Comfy bed. Room lovely but needs a lick of paint. Bathroom needs a deep clean.

The stay was very pleasant, Colin the owner made us feel very welcome and was knowledgeable of the area. The room was very clean and the breakfast set you up for the day ahead. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again in the future.
