Do not book this hotel. It does not exist and you will be stranded in an awful area of an awful city.

Sumi palace is a misnomer. There was no restaurant for breakfast. Distances to the temples given on the were outright wrong and misleading. Location was okay but was noisy and dirty

Cleanliness was good, room size was decent for 2 adults stay. Only issue was fresh paint smell. As were quite tired upon reaching hotel, didnt raise an issue and settled for same room. Staff were courteous and welcoming. Would prefer this hotel for stay if i visit Tanjavur next time.

Spacious room. Clean. Very courteous staff.
