O quarto é espaçoso, limpo, muito confortável, cama extremamente confortável, silencioso, vizinhança ótima , muitos restaurantes pertoe supermercados, metro muito perto assim como ônibus, acesso ao quarto e entrada muito facil. Fora o predio e instalações terem sido preservadas o que torna o local extremamente charmoso e romântico. Voltaremos.

The Indy has done a good job of providing modern accommodations while keeping the old-world charm of the original building. The location is close to the Intendente station and there are a number of really good cafe's and restaurants in the area

It was a clean, quiet and cozy room we stayed in for 6 nights. It was a walking distance to metro, supermarket and restaurants. However, it would be great if we could have a basic appliance such as an electric kettle for tea/ coffee, so we could start the day and end our evening more pleasantly without being have to go shopping for it every single time we needed one.

The air conditioner was broken and would only heat up the room, even though the listing said that there is an AC. Additionally, the room is tiny and quite loud, you can hear everything outside of the room, upstairs, and next door. The area itself is okay, there’s a Lidl within walking distance but at night the surrounding area feels quite unsafe. The rooms are tiny, to the point that two small carry on luggages just barely fit inside. This hotel also has no staff, you can only message via WhatsApp. For the price, I’d say it’s not worth it, you should spend a bit extra to go somewhere closer to the tourist area.

L'envoi des code d'accès se fait trop tard. On a dû attendre à la porte. Un peu de difficulté à joindre un responsable. L'emplacement est près de tout et des transport en commun. Propre mais la chambre est très petite ainsi que la salle de bain. Espace cuisine pratique.

Nice location, effective communication. The room is nice. However nearby buildings are ruined so quite dirty. Also I found lady's hair on the provided hand towel.

Funky vintage building with a lift. Location good, but if you have a rental car, parking is practically impossible in the area. Coin metered during day, resident only parking at night. Walk to city ok during the day, but we felt safer taking Uber’s back to the apartment at night. Earplugs are provide and are necessary. Lots of creeping floors as per other comments, and loud plumbing monster noises at times. Basic kitchen, but functional. Warm water, but no real hot water for a comfortable shower. We enquired about this, but doesn’t seem to be fixable. Apartment door (105) has 1/2 inch gap on side. Can see into the apt. Couch wouldn’t be very comfortable for a long stay. Heating work really well.

The property is excelente but no parking around too much.

O quarto estava limpo e organizado. No entanto nao é um hotel. Nao existe limpeza diária do quarto nem serviço de locker por exemplo se você precisar deixar sua bagagem guardada após o check-out. Se voce precisa de um banheiro com pia grande para escovar os dentes ou usar um secador de cabelo, este não é o local adequado: existe uma minipia que de tão pequena molha o chão todo. O chuveiro de teto nao funcionou adequadamente, apenas o europeu. A cama era confortável, o armário bom e recebemos uma garrafa de vinho de boas vindas mas sem um saca rolhas para abrir! Para desfrutar o vinho seria necessário comprar um. Existe um mercado próximo e bares e restaurantes. Para sair do metrô você sobe uma ladeira e para chegar ao local você desce outra. Então considere chegar e sair de uber com suas bagagens.

The locatiom is near the center.

Very nice appartment with everything in it. Two fridges and two toilets/showers! The garden was nice and it was calm. Very close to Lidl, where we bought our breakfast and sometimes dinner. Close to the Metro and restaurants. It was easy to get in contact with the hotel when we had questions, they replied very quickly. We had a really Lovely Stay! 💕

Area not the best

Die Realität entspricht überhaupt nicht den Bildern und Beschreibung der Website. Das Zimmer war winzig klein, vom Bad nicht zu reden, denn da hatte man auf dem Flugzeugkko noch mehr Platz (ein Lavabo so breit wie meine Zahnbürste)… Auch sonst war alles heruntergekommen, muffig und machte einen eher lieblosen Eindruck. Die Umgebung war trostlos: überall Müll und Obdachlose. Da man im Haus jede Bewegung der Nachbarn mitbekommt, lässt auch ein erholsamer Schlaf zu wünschen übrig -obschon das Bett an sich bequem gewesen wäre. Alles in allem ein kompletter Reinfall und ein miserables Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir sind nach einer Nacht wieder ausgecheckt und erwarten eine Entschädigung von 50%. Ursprünglich habe ich nämlich ein 30m2 grosses Zimmer gebucht. Die angebotenen 10% sind nicht akzeptabel.

Chambres minuscules, très mal isonorisees, planchers qui craquent affreusement. Pas de gicleurs ni d'escaliers de secours. Un inconnu rode dans l'entrée de l'immeuble en jouant au portier. Quartier immédiat mal aimé, rues et trottoirs dans un état lamentable. Ce vieil immeuble a été redivisé et a du cachet. La cuisine partagée et le jardin sont sympathiques. Mais le bruit, le lit inconfortable ( pour nous) et la vetusté de l'ensemble ne nous ont pas plu. Après 4 mauvaises nuits, nous avons été soulsgés de quitter l'Indy et nous ne le recommanderons pas.

We had a wonderful stay with our 9 month old baby and six year old. Our apartment was spacious and clean, the views were wonderful and the neighbourhood was fun to walk and explore even with a stroller. Communication was great, they were helpful and kind. When people are in the stairway noise really carries but it wasn’t a problem as everyone was respectful. Thanks for a wonderful time, we wish we were there longer!

Was Goff but need some sound proof

When arriving, someone was living in the room. This caused inconvenience to find another property while sorted out foe the remaindersof the stay.

Nossa estadia no Indy foi incrivel! Lugar super aconchegante, quartos reformados e limpos, muito espaçosos. Localização otima, a 3 min da estação Intendente do metrô e 15 min andando até praça Rossio e Rua Augusta. Staff muito prestativo e rápidos em responder. Tivemos problema uma noite com o wifi e no dia seguinte foi resolvido. Vale a pena!
