Excellent location for us, quiet - about 15 mins walk along to coast to major attractions. We were here for one night and thought it was great value, really nice guy looking after the place made us feel welcome, even with 2 screaming kids. Would come back for sure.

Couldn't have asked for more for a short stay in Margate. 2 mins walk to the beach and very close to the centre and main amenities. Very dog friendly which is a plus, but still exceptionally clean. Room facilities excellent - lots of towels, very comfy bed, toiletries and plenty of tea & coffee. Jim is an exceptional host; the best we have ever had; cannot do too much for you. Great welcome and chat about what there is to see and do in the local and surrounding areas, buses etc. Jim, you are fab! and we hope the business continues to thrive.

Stayed back in Dec just after Xmas and forgot to write a review! Stay was lovely and well worth the money. The hotelier was wonderful too; super welcoming and friendly. Would stay again.

DIY noise into the evening. Tiny room with a giant sofa in it which is unnecessary. Shower was faulty - ran hot for 10 seconds then cold for 30 seconds, repeatedly. Banging sounds until the early hours of the morning, hence only 2 hours sleep so tired for an important meeting. The above caused me to leave a day early - no refund, of course!

Our room was really comfortable. Breakfast area was well laid out and wecoming. The owner Jim was so friendly and welcoming, with some really great, interesting stories. Super nice snd helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Shenandoah. The host was lovely and so accommodating of everything that we needed. There was a general breakfast room where we could have our takeout dinner and our room was very clean and comfortable.

A lovely little local gem, 5 mins from the beach and lovely walks, feels a bit like a home away from home and Jim, the owner, could not be more accomodating. I had a poorly 7 year old and 2 year old with me and he made their stay superb too. Cheers Jim, we will be back.

Very good hotel and as described, perfect for the stay and local to the beach. Very clean and Jim is very welcoming and friendly. Mostly recommended and would stay again.

Inn-keeper Jim was a fantastic host. Friendly and helpful with the kids. The room was exactly as described. It could have done with darker curtains (as in to keep out the morning light). The shower was grand, took a moment to get it to work as expected but we got there.

I received this peace and relaxation during my stay at Shenandoah house.

It was a good stay. They were very welcoming and friendly. Room clean and comfortable. On suite had a bath which was great. Breakfast good. A good stay all round. We will return
