We have family living nearby so Fisherman Cot is ideal for us. We have stayed here before and will stay again when we visit the family. Its always clean and comfortable rooms. The food is acceptable and breakfast is lovely.

Bar and Restaurant are an enjoyable experience with friendly staff. Accommodation is tired and in need of a refresh. Broken ceramic centre on the hot water tap, heating control on shower is loose and comes apart. Upside, ground coffee offered in the rooms with plenty of milk

Really enjoyed it we was in room 21. It was lovely nice big bathroom. Nice big room will come back.

staff and food excellent and beds nice and comfortable and clean room nice with usual tea/coffee etc. On arrival though bins overflowing and cigarette ends on paths outside

Fishermans Cot is situated in a truly beautiful position beside the River Exe. Many of the roads in the area are very narrow and demading, especially if you are unable to occasionally reverse on meeting a caravan in tow or a wide vehicle. Food at the hotel was good in quality apart from the Continental Breakfast that had a poor and very limited variety of items. Staff were very friendly and attentive; accommodation warm, clean and comfortable and overall value and eg bar prices competitive.

Very comfortable stay , no biscuits inthe room I do enjoy a biscuit with tea .

Good sized family room, building little tired but room ice enough. But great value and lovely location more than mad who for it. Limited staff so busy but friendly. Would go back

Property outside bit dated .inside ok.on this occasion all men’s toilets out of action apart from disabled . Quiet location good view of the river

Smart premises and what i did not like is they are not giving 1st preference to customers who have booked the rooms the ability to pre book tables at anytime.

Lovely location by an ancient bridge and river with low waterfall. Great service - very friendly staff. Rustic vs luxury but clean comfortable rooms with nice beds. Food excellent value and really good.

Very short stay for business… got too the hotel in the evening so was not able to enjoy the views! Eat at the restaurant which was really nice..! Room was right next to pub entrance but still relatively quiet but regardless as the price was really great value

Lovely staff and good food. The room was clean and warm. Stayed shortly after a snow fall. It made the Inn magical.
