The cottage was in a very convenient location in Vík. Parking was right in front of the cottages, and the place was very clean and spacious for two people.However, the major issue was how clearly you could hear everything going on in the cottage next door. I could hear full conversations until late at night, even though the neighbors were not being unusually loud. For the price we paid, I would perhaps look at other options next time.

They are really cute cottages (set up in a duplex fashion). Convenient location and walkable for the most part. There is construction across the street but wasn't noisy.

The cottage itself was self-check-in and without staff, but the hotel right next to it had helpful staff readily available if needed. The cottage was clean but small, basic, and no frills.

Pros: Cottage was very private and short walk from parking lot. We had a problem with a loud dripping noise and they gave us a free breakfast but couldn’t fix it until the next day. Cons: Room was very small. I didn’t like the blinds, people walking to the next cottage could look into your room and they let a lot of light in. The bathroom was tiny! The shower doors did not have a good seal and soaked the bathroom floor. We should have stayed at the Vik hotel instead.

This place is great for an overnight stay. Very clean, quaint, easy to get to. Peaceful and felt remote, without it actually being remote. Our key pad has some issues, but that is normal due to the weather. They helped us right away with getting back in. Highly recommend this place

The photographs on the website are very misleading, as they were obviously taken before it became a building site. Also the outside of the cottage was a little shabby. The blinds are inadequate for blocking out the summer light. However, the restaurant at the hotel was excellent.

Great experience. Cute cottages

We were a bit disappointed as the property was listed as having a beach view. We saw construction and apartments - no beach view. It also listed laundy as an amenity. The only laundry available was sending it out and getting it back the next day. Also, since it was a "cottage", we assumed there would be a sitting area to relax in. It was really just a bedroom and two plastic chairs to relax in. Lastly, it was difficult to find. Our GPS led us to a street that you couldn't turn on. You might consider adding better directions on the check in email.

Skønne små hytter centralt i Vik. Dejligt man kunne tilkøbe morgenmad på Hotel Vik eller gå i Cafeen i centret overfor. Eneste minus er at toiletterne på en eller anden måde deler ventilation. Vores amerikanske naboer var gået amok med en parfume for at dække over dårlig lugt fra deres toilet og vi var seriøst ved at blive kvalt. Lukket toilet dør og kraftig udluftning hjalp dog. Næste nat var der ingen problemer. Så absolut anbefalelsesværdigt trods et par lidt underlige naboer 😆

The property was misrepresented. We thought the hotel was connected. The staff was very responsive and helpful. However, The heater in the room did not work. They replaced it with one that didn’t work. We loved the location, just wasn’t what we expected.

Even though we didn’t get to stay in the cottages due to extenuating circumstances. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Hotel is a great place to stay. Parking was easy, lots of shops and places to eat.

Room was good. I am not a fan of self check in. I think it is bad service.

Sharing a wall with another accommodation here was extremely noisy. The people next to us came and went at all hours of the night and early mornings and it was so extremely loud and disruptive. The cleaner also arrived at 8am and had music on very loud singing, banging around while cleaning. It was not a peaceful stay at all.

Cottage très agréable, bien équipé, le frigo est un vrai plus. Pas de vu mer, et cottage bruyant car mitoyen avec un autre.
