Excellent staff, very helpful. We had a comfortable stay at Amara grand. Great location as well.

When we arrived early hours in the morning we were given a room behind reception. Which was dirty and very noisy. We asked to be moved to another room, the second room was an improvement but the walls could do with a coat of paint. We only received clean bed sheets once during our 10 day stay and this was the night before leaving. The shower mat was always dirty and not changed daily. On the day of our departure we were unable to keep our room with a cost that we didn't mind paying for but we were unable as the hotel was full. The hotel didnt have anywhere for us to have a shower and get dressed. Which you would expect. The gentleman who was on the front desk was rude he didnt even look up at us when we were speaking to him. I definitely would not stay there again.

Make no mistake, this is not a 4 star hotel. There are better in the local area for a lot less money. When you checkout, they make you wait until they have checked your room before they will let you leave! Then, their on-site taxi service charges you double what the locals do
