A cozy place to center your activities around. Several pubs and restaurants are just outside the door. Or if you decide to cook, the apartment has everything needed, and a grocery store is a short 5-minute drive. We were able to see puffins at Öxarfjörður, visit Dettifoss on a day trip, and Forest Lagoon is close by to finish off the day. We had no issue with parking overnight at the city center lot since we were out sightseeing during the paid hours anyway.

Excellent central location close to the shops, bars, restaurants etc. Well equipped kitchen and cooking facilities. Comfy lounge area and beds. Perfect apartment for a short stay, really enjoyed staying here and the close proximity to all amenities. Really appreciated the earlier check in as our flight arrived in the morning and we were able to get into the apartment from midday which was great. I’m hoping to revisit Akureyri and will definitely be looking to book Saga Apartments again! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

We loved our stay in Akureyri! Convenient location, safe, clean and spacious.

The apartment had trash in it and there were dirty towels on the bathroom floor. The bathroom did not appear to be clean. Bedding looked as if it was just thrown on the bed.

Apartment is great overall. Some basic cooking supplies would make it even better, such as cooking oil, salt, etc.

Property was modern & clean. Walking distance to shops, attractions & restaurants. No parking right in front, but within a short walk. Key boxes were perfect, as we got in late.

Great location- very central. Cute place - lovely decor that felt warm and friendly. Helpful little touches like coffee, tea, detergent, first aid kit, some shoppy bags. Just felt like the owner had really thought about what a guest would need. Thanks for the stay!

Our family of four was delighted! The hosts have thought of many ways a traveler can enjoy their journey. It’s easy to go to and from the condo and experience Akureyri. Our hosts were kind and friendly and we appreciated them immensely. The best parking is behind the building and a 30 second walk to the front door. Payment is required from 10am to 4pm and is easy to manage with an app which you download from the sign at the entrance. There is food and drink in every direction, walking and the Forest Lagoon (among many other sites) are minutes away by car. The hostel next door is very friendly for a coffee or snack and you have to forgive the loudest of their visitors—comes with the hostel culture, sometimes. (They mean well.) We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

Close to everything

有個會漏水的洗手台，關不了門的淋浴間，晚上回去燈不太亮，但是房間乾淨，緊鄰市區

Having a kitchen was great. The shower stall could use a dreep cleaning.

Appartement deja ancien mais idéalement situé en coeur de ville; équipement salle de bain qui mériterait d'etre renové... ( portes de douches qui se degondent, lavabo qui régurgite par le sol lorsque vidé, lave linge sans seche linge intégré....), parquet au sol qui a beaucoup vécu....

Apparemment un peu vieillot,mais très bien situé,au cœur d’Akureyri.

Comfortable stay

The inside of this apartment is great! It even has a washing machine. The location may appeal to some people. It’s right in the center of the town. People party loudly until the wee hours and you can hear them from inside the apartment. Should also mention it’s on a walking only street so you can’t drive up to the building following the GPS.
