Beautiful well thought out space. Can’t say enough about our suit and the owners. The location is right on the water with easy walking access to the beach and hiking trails. Our hosts Sandra and Doc were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The suit was like new fitted with high end modern appointments. The breakfast that they provided was just what we needed. Had we known how nice this place was we would have scheduled this in our plans for a few more days.

An absolutely gorgeous location featuring a beautifully designed hotel with generous and kind hosts! What more can you ask for in this little slice of peaceful heaven? A big thank you to Sandra for making our stay warm and welcoming - we appreciate your thoughtfulness and conversation. We love all you’ve done with this place and hope to return again soon!

This is one of the most unique places we've ever been to. Incredible hosts, astonishing views, quiet, best breakfast,....no words can describe this amazing experience we had. Thanks Doc and Sandra, thanks a lot. We'll be back

I have never given a 10/10 review, but this was an 11. Doc and Sandra have gone to extraordinary lengths to make this an exceptional experience, and have succeeded spectacularly. Incredible location and views are just the beginning; ultimate luxury in the fittings and furniture, and truly excellent food. Go for the best coffee in NZ, go for the japanese style toilet, or go for the most amazing glass wall view - but go.

Wonderful hosts Sandra and Doc did everything to make us feel welcome and have a comfortable stay. We needed more than one night to really appreciate everything so recommend at least two nights. Lovely part of the world to visit.

Great hostess and host; gourmet meal at offering from the experienced chef. Rooms with a sea filled view in a tropical setting, and mild ocean breeze. Fully equipped suite of charm and privacy. Would return.

The way the Rooms,Restaurant and bar was set out amongst native bush over looking the bay.Absolutely stunnig place to stay Thanks Sandra and Doc.

Doc and Sandra are amazing hosts. The place is clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. The pictures in the ad don’t do justice! It far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend booking this place! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!
