I liked the quiet and secluded surroundings of the hotel. It's a nice environment to relax. Nice walk along the waterfront sidewalk

This hotel has a pleasant atmosphere and is heavily used by hikers walking the Camino, but it is currently in need of renovation. We stayed in a sea-view room, which turned out to be very small. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely hard, making it difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep. There was also a significant amount of traffic noise coming from the road because the doors are poorly insulated. On the positive side, the pool area is nice and well-maintained. The breakfast was okay, but in our opinion, it is not worth paying extra for. You can get much better food and a more authentic experience by stopping by one of the many local bakeries nearby instead. Overall, it works as a stopover, but a few upgrades would improve the experience significantly.

Breakfast was cold plate, fruit, cereal, breads etc. Good selection. The room was lovely but the water was just like warm! Has a swimming pool too. Restaurant was nice

The property faces the ocean, a good place for holidays. Cannot rate on staff as there is language barrier may cause misunderstandings.

After staying in 7 different hotels in 7 days in Portugal, the Suave Mar easily stands out as the best. Reception and bar staff (the only staff that I had contact with) were outstanding. The cleaning of my room and the rest of the hotel demonstrates the high standard of the domestics work. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It made for a super enjoyable stay. EFM
