The staffs were extremely friendly. like to come back again. The location is also excellent.

Everything was great from the parking to the staff. Couldn’t ask for a better location or a more welcoming staff.

Albergaria do Calvario is a lovely hotel just inside the ancient Roman Walls of Evora. The quiet and relaxing atmosphere is complimented by the warm management (Hugo & Joao). The complimentary breakfast was also very good.

Absolutely wonderful! Beautiful, quiet, very nicely decorated with special attention to details, very kind and attentive staff! Location within 3-10 min walking to all major attractions.l and restaurants. Breakfast was included and high quality with so many choice. Onsite parking at a minimal fee was a big plus. All other guests we met were from US and Canada. Highly recommended!

Everything about this property was perfect, especially the staff. I rated it 4 instead of 5, because the rooms are not sound proof. We could hear our neighbors easily. Luckily they were quiet, but if you got noisy people, it would be unpleasant.

This is an excellent hotel within the old, walled city in Evora. It has great, quiet places to relax off the lobby and in the private outdoor courtyard. Our room was spacious with a king bed, sitting area and private outdoor terrace. The breakfast was terrific with options for pancakes, bacon and eggs any style in addition to continental options. The property was easy to find and has an onsite private parking garage. We had 2 delicious dinners within short walking distance from the hotel that were recommended by the hotel staff. This hotel is operated by Unlock that has a few other hotels in Portugal. Our experience was excellent and we recommend it.

Staff went above call of duty to help my wife and me. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking to stay in Évora.

Our room had a covered balcony. It was gorgeous. The room was very comfortable and large. Breakfast was to order and delicious. The hotel is very quiet but just a short walk from all the sights.

The hotel is charming. Our room was large, clean and comfortably appointed. It had a mini-frig which was very convenient. Breakfast is cooked to order as well as a nice cold breakfast buffet. Staff is very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions/recommendations when requested. The hotel is conveniently situated right inside the wall and a great price/value. We would definitely stay here again.

My favorite hotel in our two week stay in Portugal. Accommodating friendly staff, comfortable hotel and rooms, and fantastic restaurant suggestions. Great breakfast buffet, as well as cook to order options, all within a walled historic walkable city. Best dinners we had in Portugal by far, because of recommendations (and reservations,) we received from their wonderful staff. Loved Evora, loved the hotel, hope to come again... Obrigada!

Great hotel. Would come back. Pay a few bucks extra for the suite, it's worth it.

Hotel fantástico, dentro da cidade murada com acesso fácil a pé por toda cidade, atendimento impecável, hotel é lindo, quarto grande, limpo e confortável, tudo muito perfeito, super recomendo.

Excellent établissement pour découvrir la ville d’Evora et les environs. Nous avons aussi apprécié de pouvoir prendre un lunch léger en soirée plutôt que de sortir au restaurant. Nous avons même prolongé notre séjour d’une nuit supplémentaire.

Friendly, clean, attractive, outstanding breakfast, lovely restaurant for hotel guests, walkable to all scenic attractions. The hotel was inside the walled city. We loved our stay.

Beautiful hotel, has a lovely Mediterranean vibe and look. We were very comfortable there. All of Evora is walkable inside the walls. It was nice to be off to the side and away from any noise. Breakfast was lovely as well!
