Edificio del hotel en estilo siglo xix pero impecable y modernas habitaciones. Ubicado en el mejor sitio para visitar el Monasterio del Escorial y pasearse por las calles de bares y restaurantes.

A very clean well-maintained historical hotel. If you want amenities such as room service then this is not for you but there are incredible bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. The famous monastery is a couple of minutes away and a taxi drive to the railway is cheap and reliable. I enjoy staying in hotels with a sense of history so this was perfect for me.

Room adequate, but small and up under the eaves. Not as pictured in photos when booking. Aircon rather feeble. Breakfast good. Staff pleasant. Good location. Whole place feels like it’s a bit “tired”. No parking, but public car park very close and there is a discount for hotel guests.

Quarto limpo, equipe prestativa, bom café da manhã. O hotel não tem estacionamento e é necessário parar na rua. Tivemos sorte, pois era fim de semana e não há cobrança.

Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Auschecken sollte ich nochmal bezahlen, trotz vorkasse, konnte aber schnell geklärt werden.

Habitación confortable con gran cama y muy cuidadas las instalaciones totalmente actualizadas.

Supongo que por ser una reserva desde una plataforma nos dieron una habitación pequeña, con un baño viejo con olor a tuberías sucias.

The hotel is very central for visiting the monestary. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast was very good. Other guests in the hotel the night we stayed were very noisy and woke us up several times

Die sehr gute Lage zum Palast/Kloster war für uns ausschlaggebend. Die Tür zum Bad schliff auf dem Boden und konnte dadurch schlecht geöffnet und geschlossen werden.

Este no es un hotel de 4 estrellas. El restaurante... cerrado. El bar... cerrado. La piscina... cerrada. El desayuno... pésimo. El wifi en la habitación... inexistente. El baño... un lavabo a punto de caerse de la pared. La habitación... mal acabado de la carpintería. Aparcamiento... inexistente. Le daría a este hotel dos estrellas. Muy decepcionado... ¡Me siento estafado!

My stay here was calm and peaceful. I particularly loved the bilingual staff, they were super helpful and very friendly. They helped me get a cab to the airport. The room was nice and clean, breakfast was lovely. No unnecessary hidden charges. Big plus for me. My one recommendation would be to have fliers or cards for tour companies. I was given a map of the area indicating places I could visit but if they added pamphlets or business cards for tour companies, I think this would just be a plus. Thanks for the apple I got from the reception. Made for a nice snack.

A beautiful old hotel in the city center, not far from the monastery. We liked the old style atmosphere. The staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. We can recommend this hotel.

The hotel and staff are lovely. Would stay here again. I only wish they had coffee/tea facilities in the room!
